I found this random episode on an old tape and decided to post it in case someone out there may want to see it. The quality isn't great, but its watchable. Posted in 2 parts. This is part 1.
Thanks. Really enjoyed this. So many stories going on too. Can you imagine a soap today managing this many stories? Or any show, really. This was when the short story with Devon and Donna Pescow (as the lesbian doctor) was going on. And buildup to the big yacht party with Jenny and her fiance, which, I believe, resulted in a ban on drug use by the cast as some were supposedly coked out of their gills while taping.
I love your points about how many stories are going on. All My Children was the master at this. I remember 1987 was like having several different movies all blended into one, although all the stories were very separate from one another. You could watch the Damon Lazar/Noelle/Jeremy thing going on and forget it was the same show that had the Ross/Natalie/Palmer thing going on.
