O.Z GASS Wheels Upgrade 2022 Ducati HyperMotard 950 SP

- The spending never stops here at HyperMotardKing, and this time we have gone with the beautiful O.Z GASS RS-A Forged Aluminium Wheels in Techno Gold.
These are the same measurement/fitment as stock 3.5x17 and 5.5x17 and using the Brembo HPK 320mm discs and titanium bolts the front was 200g heavier than the stock Marchesini with Stock Series ORO discs and OEM bolts - i'm guessing the wheels are roughly the same and the discs are slightly heavier/thicker designed for racing. The rear O.Z was 400g lighter than the Marchesini so good saving there on rotating mass.

Two minutes ago I sent you a comment requesting info for the rims, then i stumbled on this! LOL! I just mounted red Brembo Stylema on my Hyper; they would POP on the gold! I actually have a gold Engine Hawk shirt-jacket to complete the "ensemble". Think I need a gold tooth?

Hi brother! fellow hyper owner i got an RVE, Bud may i ask do you sometimes get false neutral and is it really common. I had the 821 and i often get on neutral when on 4th to 5th gear shifting. Ride safe brother subscriber from Philippines.!!
Fellow, hyper owner here it typically does it in lower RPM
I don’t tend to have that problem on my bike.. I am running Ducabike rearsets so maybe that helps

What has happened to OZ wheels now?
They used to be machined alloyvgold anodised.
They look rough textured and it looks like a satin gold paint.🤷♂️🤷♂️
*Edit*: OZ no longer anodise on the smooth machined finish as there was colour variations in the gold from wheel to wheel, and customers complained.
So they now bead blast the lovely machined finish to create the rough 'cast' finish which gives a consistent anodised colour from batch to batch out of the anodising tank.
The problem is, apart from not looking as nice as they used to, the wheels are an absolute bastard to clean now, with road grime, chain lube and brake dust getting into the rough texture and it's almost impossible to get out.
HPS actually advised me against getting the new anodised wheels because of this.
They have lots of finishes.. it has appearance of rough texture but actually smooth to the touch. These are techno gold Anodised

Years ago, OZ used to fully machine the rim then anodise them gold.
They looked SENSATIONAL back then.

Mother warned about men like you and your seductive ways! So, thanks to this setup, instead of buying a neew Husky 701; I'm going to pour money into yet more bling for the Hyper. Trouble is, I can't buy the wheels from bikeehps because the USA customs will tax me unmercifully, and because California acts like an independent nation when it comes to taxes, I get hit with a "use-tax"....another word for legaal extortion. I checked bikehps, I found th rotors, but there's no colour selection(?), and I can't find the ABS part either. While I'm sinking money into the project, I'm going to change sprockets and chain. I have stock sprockets; what size 520 chain should I get? I'm stoked by this!
I use the DID gold chain and kept it the same 520. Guys like Jaret Campisi and 650ib all have used O.Z wheels from Motomillian..
