Bayerische Motoren Werke!!! 1 series is definitely value for money. Normal service isn’t as costly as many think. Filter and air cleaner element set is approx 7k then it needs 4.2L of synthetic oil 25k km interval. I noticed you are driving it with very low fuel - for BMW if you want heartburns drive with low fuel. The general rule is don’t let fuel go below quarter. Ground clearance can be increased to a max of 157mm using a different type of suspension. The Japanese set is 153 I think. Great work, with a CK

Good quality service part costs are similar across many car models. I actually think JDM genuine service parts are priced higher
@@EnuaAfrica this is very true. I think what can be very costly for German cars are body parts (headlamps, windscreen etc) but the usual parts/consumables are fairly priced

I wish you could introduce a comparison session in your youtube channel where you compare competitive cars..stating there pros and cons..value for money..reliability etc..for example...You would have compared this to a golf...Then finally picking your best pick...what you would have gone for...Otherwise, you doing a great job and I'm a great fan of you....I have been going to my friends phones and tvs and made sure they have subscribed to this channel💯💯💯💥
To be honest these car is the best in performance and everything. I am planning to own it. Nimeogopa hapo kwa reliability eti lazima upate the BEST BMW technician na wengi ni wa probox na mazda.. Cjui itakua aje but for real these car is the best and powerful in performance and everything. I drove it once na niliskia kulia na nilale tuh ndani nisirudishie mwenyewe... I love this car and it’s on my list for my first car. But I’m kidogo scared of possibly facing issues with it. I also have the auris and Mazda axela on my list - those two seem to have better reliability according to word on the street. Lakini the BMW looks like the most fun to drive out of them all.

I am having the same toy since 2019 up to date. I never experienced any problem with this toy.
The only problem I encountered last year 2021 September was a Drivetrain malfunction warning light that popped up while I was on board.
Since I replaced the four ignition coils and the spark plugs, I had never experienced any problem.
I am happy to come across this review.

@Erik @CARNVERSATIONS Correction on jump-starting as you stated, actually jump-starting directly from the battery is advised against as it might cause damage to some modules, there are terminals at the engine bay for that as I know you are aware of....#CARNVERSATIONS
Thank you for the information bro, what I actually meant is when you needed to jumpstart your friend the battery is at the back but I know there are terminal under the bonnet for jumpstarting the car itself

how much is it?
Aaaaa hapo kwa kujump start umeanguka mtihani my friend. The battery is in the boot yes, but you jumpo start it from the hood/bonet/engine area. There is a positive and negative/earth port for jump starting. Jump starting from the boot can cause problems
What if you wanted to jumpstart another car and not this one in particular?
@@CARNVERSATIONS I believe all BMWs have a specific jumpm start points in the hood/bonet. I've never had to jump start using battery. It's always good to check user's manual for your specific model but I believe for BMWs there are specific points other than the battery to jump start from or with.

Back in Nov I drove from Msa to Malindi and back on 1500 fuel. Na ilibaki.
Shida ni the battery. Costs 25k. So take care of it. And also don't do wheel changes at any mechanic. Otherwise you'll mess up with the sensors kwa miguu. And troubleshooting will cost you.
But for me, my choice Beamer 🤩

M140i & M135i are the most bmw hot hatches with about 3xx Hp...HUA UNATULETEA VERY LIGHT VERSIONS OF BMW...which translates to poor comparision with other of its competitors.

You got it all wrong, the money is yours you can choose to enjoy your ride regardless of the issues in a fancy, awesome beast or save it and have a basic reliable problem free demio. Whatever you choose doesn't change the fact that it will eat your money tuko together SASA?. On this particular common issues include failure of the VANOS system (very expensive to fix), proshaft and power steering but if you can pay for it why not
116i is not a hot hatch and when you got to the ZF8HP is not as reliable as a DSG i had to turn off , never heard so much bull.
