It would be wrong to compare this pedal to expensive pedals so I won't! Great value multi pedal for the money here, it's versatile, looks good and sounds great too. Wish I had something like this when I was starting out, I wouldn't mind one now either. Thanks for the demo..

It has an always on noise gate that cuts the signal when it is under a certain level. So you won't get natural decay and maybe no sound with low output pickups.

There's getting to be a slew of these smaller 2 button units on the market all sounding about the same and making it a bit hard to choose one, so what happens is I don't buy any. I'm waiting for a mid size unit (4 switches and exp pedal) to be introduced that has an effects loop and "dual amp" signal path and for a decent price, (Pod Go got really close but no dual amp path) I however don't think we're any more than a year or two away from that being offered. Nothing against this HB unit at all, seems decent and I know HB has incredibly fair pricing, but, I will pay more if more features are offered.

Ampero Stomp II. Came out in the beginning of 2022 and i must say the best shit i have heard. On par or better than HX Stomp - and its approx 130 euros cheaper. Otherwise i would buy the soon to be released NUX MG400 well if you want something with a pedal and this priceclass. The NUX MG300 still sells a lot.

@@davidwoods358 Gongrats man, awesome unit the Headrush. Very good guality sounds and it will grow even more. Power under the hood. Ime Helix world, Headrush, Fractal, Ampero II and QC and Kemper is the top. But i am so hyped for the new cheap NUX coming soon. Haha, gear is fun! I have too many amps and only a couple of old modelers - ZOOM G3 (2011) and the old bean POD 2.0 (2000). Oh and Korg AX1500G. Its time trying the new digital gear :) I mostly use em as amps so thinking about how i will use. Via efx loop or a FRFR active or with a clean power am. or good active studio monitors.
