@@EngineersWorkshop I have a few tricks there, they will grind cool for you. Look, the dog has to chase squirrels already! I am doing another video later today.
Hi Dee, what size is the carbide blank you are using and may I ask where you buy your carbide from? I believe you mentioned in a previous video you use C2 grade carbide? Thanks again. Joe
Enjoying the tool and cutter grinding series, many thanks for taking the time to do the videos. Such an interesting shed you’ve got there.
Thanks for tuning in!
Great action !! I real enjoyed the lesson newer knew of the high speed steel trick !! Thank you for showing !!
It does save time, I end up lapping the top and the side.
Very nice grinder. I’m jealous
Love this series Dee Dee, having just bought a Cinci #2. Need more of the close up shots please!
Thanks, as I stumble along. Back soon, its squirrel season for miniture Dachshunds!
@dee dee got a couple 46 grit AO cup wheels coming. Is this too coarse for HSS like fly cutters?

The blank is C2 3/8x5/8x1/8 carbide, purchased on ebay.
@@deedeeindustrialsuperprecision Thanks much for the information.
@@jbaccell The blank is 3/16" thick! About any size or shape blank can be found at MSC Industrial, and others, at higher cost.
Was a cutter grinder for 31 years
I have had this old grinder that long, very important machine
Would have loved to see the end result, ran a bit short. But otherwise very interesting....
I think I have a bad chip in this camera, not much more to that anyway. Thanks for checking it out.
That tiny vise is called a "insert vise" because you can insert it into larger vises just as you did
It seems to work both ways Thanks for tuning in!
