Pacific Cup 2018

This video is from our Pacific Cup 2018 sailing race from San Francisco to Hawaii. The culmination of 3 years of refitting our Wauquiez Pretorien 35 led to the idea of sailing to and from the Hawaiian Islands. We entered the race as a member of the cruising division but quickly realized there is no cruising when in a group of boats. This was our first ocean passage and first race for all members of the crew. Total time took us 14 days and we ended a respectable 5th out of our fleet of 15 boats. Even more respectable, this was a non handicapped fleet and we were the smallest vessel.

Nope. Many Channel Island trips. COVID cancelled the 2020 PacCup. We enjoyed the race but really prefer to do long passages solo.
