Yes that really is a middle class American house, a piano is not that unusual, not common but not rare.

@@robertsmith4681 NOPE middle middle class for sure, where she lives that was basically dead center middle. But to your point, in some areas of America that might rank as upper middle class, however in others that could end up in lower middle class.

@@JB-mg5lw Operating word is "where she lives", it may be "middle range" or "Average" for a property in that area but the notion that ownership of such a property when most people moved to urban condos and apartments 40 or so years ago and calling it a "middle class" home is simply erroneous.

@@robertsmith4681 No, you are pushing to hard to make something political of this, there are far more urban communities like this that are indeed middle class homes than there are urban cities you are trying to pawn off as some kind of political oppression. I gave an honest and balanced response, please try to do the same instead of just parroting a narrative about the middle class life in America.

@@robertsmith4681 in Michigan you can find a house like this for 250,000 or less. That’s very average. She probably paid way more. Michigans always been a cheaper housing market. It’s not a new build either. Looked like a 80’s build or older. That yard isn’t that big by the looks of things. I saw a little smaller house sitting on more than 9 acres of land they wanted 275,000.

For the city of Fort Wayne, Indiana that is a middle class house. The median home price there is about $250-$300k. Pretty similar to where I live. Here that might even be considered lower middle class. It is highly dependent on the city/town you live in. The real estate market, average income, and cost of living can vary widely from place to place. The median home price in Seattle is almost $900k, in Miami it's around $600k, but go to a dying city like Decatur, Illinois and it's only $100k.

That’s not a house. That’s a home. The newer larger houses are just cold empty spaces and all about showing off.

This is definitely a middle class house. She was a little all over the place. Nerves may have gotten the best of her. A different camera person may have shown more.

Many older homes have a sun room, basically an unheated room attached to the home so you can enjoy the outside without going out. The couple I know of have large windows with screens so they can be opened up in the summer for fresh air. One lady I know has hers loaded with plants.

I was thinking about Pari and the lovely lady 2 sdays ago. I was at Costco and there was a whole large family of Sikhs and they were having a great time enjoying the store to it's fullest.

I would say that this house would qualify as a middle- class home, but if you were to really break it down and there was a middle-low class, a middle-class, a middle-high class.
This house in my opinion would be a middle-low class. Coming from a man such as myself who live in the state of Indiana.
'' If you ask what difference is of the three''.
I would say a family income of 50k to 55k per year income. a family income of say 60k to 75k per year income. a family income of 76k to 90k per year income. You can really see the difference in those incomes if the house is one's or family's priority. For some people it isn't. For example, some people might have a 50k car that lives in a 20k house or what we call a trailer.
This house value i would say come in about 100k to 110k depending how close it is to the city or town it might be a little more. Next jump would be around 150k to 200k. Next jump at around 220k to 300k. I leave around 20 k in between as a example of how close they are to city or town. I am not a expert and i don't claim to be, but i think this is a good breakdown.

I live in Southern California and in good neighborhoods the prices start at $1 Million + which also means higher taxes and other expenses.

This is middle class in middle America and the southern suburbs. In the major populated areas, they will get much less space and land.

Unfortunately this is becoming harder and harder for the average American to achieve 😔 I grew up in a house nearly twice that size, now I live in an apartment half that size. I'm working hard to get back there so my son can grow up like i did. I want to have a garage to work on things and do projects with my son, just like i did with my dad. It's crazy. The house i grew up in was about $260k in 2016, today it's $390k! I still have hope though, times are getting tougher, but i know i can pull out of somehow. Have a great day everyone!

Everybody chose to move to the city at the same time, people got into the houses nobody wanted anymore because they weren't in the city, now that cities suck people wan to go back but there is nowhere to go back to because nobody built new houses in the places where unwanted houses were plentyful, until they weren't ...
