Of course, in retrospect, his flow and lyrics have not improved and so it all kind of meshes together, but I believe he produced the tape himself and the production was really what set it apart, so you could overlook the brown boy flow
He does have some good tracks IMO perfect timing was a pretty solid album just don’t listen to him for the lyrics cuz he definitely doesn’t provide that lol
The only thing I can legit say is that I like his album art and even the titles- they know how to promise something interesting and maybe even story-driven.... But alas, no such luck.

I personally like navs music for many of the reasons he hates him. I think the uniquely emotionless and robotic quality of his vocals is part of his appeal. Yeah the lyrics aren’t good but I’m more listening for the atmospheric, almost ambient adjacent quality that the heavy auto tune, lack of emotion combined with the spacey, mildly psychedelic beats bring to the table. I totally understand why people hate him and Anthony’s reviews are always funny, entertaining, and interesting even when I disagree, but that’s just my personal perspective on nav Sorry I didn’t say anything funny [insert melon community meme here]
