i want a Beatles tier list. IMO Their Discography has many different albums that people consider to be the best, and Im curious to what Anthony considers his top pick to be and why. (to my knowledge Fantano hasnt done a ranking or tier list of the beatles.)
His favorite Beatles album is the white album and he explains why it is in his review of the White album 2018 deluxe edition. I think abbey road is his 2nd favorite beatles because thats the only other beatles album that he owns on vinyl (this is not confirmed but its a fair assumption)
What do you think the odds are that in 30 years time quite a few alternative and avant garde musicians and bands will say Angelic 2 the Core is one of their favourite albums and influenced them?
The stories goes that with Chances the Big day, his long time manager and producer, who was even his personal friend, had told him that he didn’t have enough time to produce something great and Chances wedding and daughters was taking up all of his creative time. Which makes sense to me. He basically released it half baked without his manager, Pat Corcoran, giving it the mix and mastering he did to all of the other albums he made and threw it out there anyway. Pat Corcoran Ended up leaving over how the album turned out because Chance didn’t take his advice. Seemed like he was right.
My ranking of these albums 1. Angelic to the core So bad it's good. Truly "The Room" of albums. -10/10 2. Speeding Bullet to Heaven At least Cudi was trying something new I suppose 5/10 3. Orgins It's at least better than Evolve. Mostly just generic, but nothing too bad; it's fine 5/10 4. Father of All... Gets too much flack tbh; it has a few good tracks. The Offspring showed us that this album could have been much worse 4/10 5. Reckless Boring and all the songs sound the same 3/10 6. Changes Boring and all the songs sound the same 3/10 7. The Big day Disappointing, but in an interesting way 3/10 8. Enter any 'Godsmack' album here All of their albums suck, why is Fantano suprised? 2/10 9. I'm Brain Don't funny an album if u cannot funny 1/10 10. Totally Xanarchy Always judge a book by its cover 1/10 11. Welcome to the Madhouse It's both annoying and bland; that takes true talent 0/10 12. NC's The Wall At least none of the other albums were made with awful intentions... 0/10 (I did not listen to the Sheeran album. Idc.) So only two of these albums are 0's to me.
Videos like this really show your creativity and passion for music. I think it's really admirable how you continue to create such a large discussion around music, whether it's good or bad. You're doing a lot for the community, and it's safe to say you've earned your spot in music history. Unsubscribed.
green day's Father of All made me really sad bc they came back within the year with an absolute banger of a punk/new wave album with their Network side project, and i'm just baffled bc they're still clearly capable punk songwriters and they just refused to do that
I was really interested to see what made the Green Day record so bad, then I listened to it and immediately felt the "corporate rock" vibes. It’s okay in the last 10-15 or so years you guys have King Gizz, Tame, Sia, Flume, Courtney Barnett, Empire of the Sun etc. So it definitely makes up for it😂
Shame he never reviewed Maroon 5, they’re dying to be on this list.
Nobody deserves to listen to any of the new maroon 5
@@lguedes55 TRUEEEE
New Maroon is garbage, but we have to admit old Maroon was different gravy and i don’t think he would have a lot of bad things about some of the old albums
I find Maroon 5 to be okay. I like them at their best, find them easy to ignore at their worst.
@@The482075 They're like the forgettable category of bad to me so I only remember the things I liked
Stop being jealous of Chance. He just loves his wife sooooooooooooo much
Anthony didn't even talk about NC's The Wall, he just straight up filled the whole F tier with it lmao
he forgot one more light aswell
In its defense, it isn't that bad to be considered a 0
@@ionlyusepics One More Light is a guilty pleasure that ain't supposed to be guilty, imo. It's catchy yet quite a last album. Probably a 5 or 6.
It does have some good songs, and the title song hits harder after what happened to Chester :(
@@vxxiii4160 yes, that song is great. powerfull final song
Gotta love how "Nostalgia Critic's The Wall" didn't even get a comment and was just put between the F tier and the 'Off the Scale' tier (if you will) without any notice.
Jokes aside: Angelic is definitely a The Room of music. It's awkward and bad in every possible way, but you can tell there was passion put into it, and if you listen to it it's not like bad bad? Just...really cringe and tryhard, but not "oh god this sucks, it's going on forever" bad
the hint of "yeah I love my wiiiiiiife ACK!" while you were talking about The Big Day really hit different
I love my wife like i am chance
He got a little lebron and going to the dimmsdale dimmadome
That Nostalgia Critic's The Wall was just chilling out and I waited the whole video to see you tear it apart again and it never happened.
Not Good's aren't zeros
Well technically anyway
Edit: made comment before watching vidya. Now I just look like Captain Obvious
I think the joke is that it’s self-explanatory
He didn't have to. Folding Idea's video on it insulted it better than anything Fantano could come up with in this video, and melon knew it.
I can’t believe Melon has AJR tied up and left to starve in his bdsm dungeon
Haha!
Good
Why didn't he include them? I don't get the joke.
2st. Best joke of the video next to the nostalgia critic
I believe it
The best descriptions for Lil Xan ever: creekiest and weekiest.
I think one of my favorite things is how mad Melon gets when he talks about The Big Day. Whenever it comes up I start to feel like he's going to start shouting "CHANCE YOU BLEW IT! YOU HAD IT ALL AND YOU WASTED IT ON THIS"
Changes: "some of the worst pop music of the last decade"
*Puts it in C category*
"It has a little something for everyone"
ign moment
To be fair an S tier here still isn't even a 1/10 😂
To be fair this is some of the worst pop music in an entire list of some of the worst pop music so it ranking C isn’t that surprising
I think it's because some of the song were still listenable. Surely not good but some audience might find it catchy.
He is right tho
Lil Xan is higher on a tier list than Green Day. 2020 really was a simulation
At this point he is just laughing at anybody asking for a Pink Floyd/Beatles tier list
I mean where do you go after the Beatles?
Yeah
As he should
Good
He likes to review newer albums that the public haven't already decided their opinion on
Haha love how Nostalgia Critic's the Wall just silently occupies the entire space below F
It is the entire F tier
NC’s The Wall taking up the entire F tier 😂😂
Fantano: "The _best_ worst album"
Feldman: "So... you're saying it's the best on the list? Right on, dude! Righteous!"
The faint "ooh I love my wife" at 5:35 lmfao
This is a certified hood cal-assic
I’m feeling a 10 on this new Kenmoops comment, Tran!

"The horrible modern era that we've been told would arrive in the flesh"
That was both savage and beautiful

Will there need to be an S+ tier when Angelic 3 the Core drops?
I don't think lord corey could live up to that album.
Ang3lic to the Core

i want a Beatles tier list.
@@jkam2393 Thank you. Makes perfect sense knowing his tastes.
My favorite Beatles album is the one with that song about how it's good to keep your dog in a hot car.

Corey Feldman: Not Good in the streets, S Tier in the sheets
What do you think the odds are that in 30 years time quite a few alternative and avant garde musicians and bands will say Angelic 2 the Core is one of their favourite albums and influenced them?
I love that kid cudi has gotten a 10 and a 0, that’s true talent
need a 100 point scale. So we know one nav album is a 0.5 over the previous one being a 0.4
Current scale is 30 points (light decent strong)
love the subtle/not-so-subtle placement of a certain critic's album
also I must ask, Swans tier list when?
The stories goes that with Chances the Big day, his long time manager and producer, who was even his personal friend, had told him that he didn’t have enough time to produce something great and Chances wedding and daughters was taking up all of his creative time. Which makes sense to me. He basically released it half baked without his manager, Pat Corcoran, giving it the mix and mastering he did to all of the other albums he made and threw it out there anyway. Pat Corcoran Ended up leaving over how the album turned out because Chance didn’t take his advice. Seemed like he was right.
My ranking of these albums
1. Angelic to the core
So bad it's good. Truly "The Room" of albums. -10/10
2. Speeding Bullet to Heaven
At least Cudi was trying something new I suppose 5/10
3. Orgins
It's at least better than Evolve. Mostly just generic, but nothing too bad; it's fine 5/10
4. Father of All...
Gets too much flack tbh; it has a few good tracks. The Offspring showed us that this album could have been much worse 4/10
5. Reckless
Boring and all the songs sound the same 3/10
6. Changes
Boring and all the songs sound the same 3/10
7. The Big day
Disappointing, but in an interesting way 3/10
8. Enter any 'Godsmack' album here
All of their albums suck, why is Fantano suprised? 2/10
9. I'm Brain
Don't funny an album if u cannot funny 1/10
10. Totally Xanarchy
Always judge a book by its cover 1/10
11. Welcome to the Madhouse
It's both annoying and bland; that takes true talent 0/10
12. NC's The Wall
At least none of the other albums were made with awful intentions... 0/10
(I did not listen to the Sheeran album. Idc.)
So only two of these albums are 0's to me.
Videos like this really show your creativity and passion for music. I think it's really admirable how you continue to create such a large discussion around music, whether it's good or bad. You're doing a lot for the community, and it's safe to say you've earned your spot in music history.
Unsubscribed.
great comment
angelic 2 the core is literally “The Room” for music
Anthony is like that a music teacher that actually relates to the kids.
I still can't believe he gave Dreamland a straight up Not Good.
I personally think that Anthony realized that giving it a NOT GOOD was a bad idea, hence why he didn't include it here.
"You can listen to this album over and over and it will give you nothing in return" that is one of the most powerful burns I've ever heard
I was pretty surprised to hear you rant about Kendrick’s DAMN and give it a 0/10 right on the spot.
green day's Father of All made me really sad bc they came back within the year with an absolute banger of a punk/new wave album with their Network side project, and i'm just baffled bc they're still clearly capable punk songwriters and they just refused to do that
It was a contractually obligated album they didn't want to make.
Nostalgia critics the wall was surreal wasn’t it
Back here after Ken Carson
I was really interested to see what made the Green Day record so bad, then I listened to it and immediately felt the "corporate rock" vibes. Apparently it was the last record they put out with Reprise Records, so it was a "contractual obligation album" which makes a lot more sense. Never would have picked Green Day for Stomp Clap pop but hey
So in other words if their contract was shorter, that album likely wouldn’t exist.
Guess Fantano forgot he gave Lil B's "I'm Gay (I'm Happy)" and PlanningtoRock's "All Love's Legal" both 0s in the past
I think those were joke scores
