The good thing about 2 fingered bowling is that you don't have to worry about those annoying thumb calluses that affect you in the game. I say you guys can bowl however you see fit to the game. Only "you" judge your own bowling, not someone else. No matter what others say. Good Stuff!!!
I can only really bowl with 2 fingers myself. This is my first year bowling leagues, and after finding my rhythm/technique, I went from shooting a 115 average to finally hitting 150+! My best scratch game as of right now is also a 247 at 19 years old
I'm with you guys, I've been throwing like that for 26 yrs now I'm 55. and had 3 279s'..that close to a perfect game...those pins just ain't cooperating for me to make my goal...:(.

Death Gamer if you’re used to bowling with three fingers then yeah it’ll feel weird but you can really get it to hook. It’ll be difficult tho if you don’t have your own ball.
Death Gamer house balls that are at your local bowling alley aren’t designed to hook. If you were to get one they drill the ball so the finger holes are more comfortable. So having your own bowling will give you a big advantage.
Wow this was extremely helpful. I do far better with 2 fingers so I have made that my regular way of bowling but I was having a hard time pulling my arm far enough back to throw it hard. This gave me a good idea as to how you can safely do that, so thank you for that.
Bro spend some time/money on teaching 2-Finger hook and you'll grow this channel. I'm sure there are plenty more like us out there but no good channels to follow, and you got the skill. Just need a business plan, some production value, and a strategy for content creation. Goodluck

Do you have your own custom made ball? If you are using house balls, those balls are not made to hook and almost impossible to hook using 3 fingers because everyone have different hand sizes. Using thumbless(2 fingers) style, make doing the hook with those balls possible.

anyone getting middle finger pains after recently starting to bowl with no thumb?? i started to bowl like this too recently but my middle finger is always swollen and hurting after i bowl. i don’t think this is normal either, but all i can do now is ice it after.

Control as in holding onto the ball? Ball slipping? Accuracy? I am going to release a video in September on my channel analyzing this style and hopefully give some helpful tips. Look at Tom Daugherty, Mike Miller, on TH-cam Tom Murphy is very good.
I would say ur style looks great, but both need to work on hand positions at the bottom as occasionally you can see you hand get really around the side of the ball and it spins like a top. Other than that great work, plus staying under the ball will create tons more power I’m a one hander with about 530 rev rate I’m not just blowing smoke lol.

I bowl two fingers as well and I am usually a 150-170 bowler. I will say bowling with 2 fingers makes it harder to pick up strikes.

Wtf? It's only going to increase your strike percentage. Higher rpm= higher power= higher carry percentage

I struggle with getting ribs on my ball and I think I'll switch over to two-finger bowling over the standard fingertip grip with thumb hole
