Yeah I hate kill stealers. It always sucks after finally getting a crit on a plane after 2mins of turnfighting just for some guy to come cherry pick them
I wish they hadn't removed the old kill feed which said when someone was set on fire or crit, I think it helped a bit with kill steals. Of course when someone is a burning fireball it's obvious
Actually, there is a crit and fire symbol for the kill feed in the game files. I've seen it in YT vidoes (mainly Bo time's hide and seek vids) and I can't quite remember how you can activate it, it was something like going into a custom battle filled with bots and then simply leaving. (You also have to re-do it every time you start the game) So even more frustrating that it's in the game files but they don't use it.
u think people care if they see u crit the person? i crit a dude in a 2v2 situation and i had the other enemy in a dogfight i was obviously going to lose, i went into the dogfight to make my teamate missile him off gaurd, (i told him to come missile him btw) instead he wastes a missile on the flatspinning enemy and makes me die, i then see we lost the match while i was in the hangar.
@@verscy8726 that is just one example But I'm not saying it will completely fix the issue. Maybe I'm just looking back with rose-tinted glasses but I feel like air rb had fewer kill steals back when it specified whether the person was crit or on fire, it did still happen of course.
@@blitz_3746 yea it definitely had less kill steals but still people wont care and will still killsteal,it would probably bring down the amount of killsteals but not by alot
Nobody should complain about a killsteal on an F5. I've seen those things survive multiple R60s and R24s without a scratch so if somebody can make sure they're properly dead then good riddance.
Very true, ive eaten buckets full of rounds in my 5E and still been able to land, fight even if its not too bad. Hell one time I survived 2 fox-2s and made it to the runway, granted I more or less crashed on landing but it repaired so F-5 ftw
If that F-5E had put out that fire I'd say go for it but this one was kind of blatant with no other enemies around for urgency. F-5 damage model is definitely bullshit though.
2vs2 situation, that teammates rather to kill the enemy on your 6, he goes for the enemy you set on fire, stole the kill then crashed into ground
Just another day in war thunder
