The buff to engine thrust was unexpected and unnecessary but I haven't been noticing R-60M/K overperforming. Even before the Apex Predators update, when tailing something I'd hold R-60's until just outside gun range and they'd ignore flares at that distance.
@@eesangWT idk I've been helping a buddy grind and been flying the f-4j a bunch for him, and anytime a r-60m was fired it was a death sentence. No matter the range, how cold I made my engines, how much I flared etc and I've never had issues with them before, I've noticed a few others share the same experience as well.
Would be great if that was the case, my R60Ms just fly into nirvana if its more than 2 kms of launch range and even then they tend to just do everything but hit the plane
Just discovered your Chanel as I was looking for tips about the mla that I gona start playing soon. Love your vids mate, just maybe you could leave the text a little longer so i ( and probably others) don't have to pause the vids to have the time to read haha 🤙
4:05 I might be wrong since I mained the 23 only before the 29 came in so its been a couple of months but AFAIK you can't notch the 23 MTI, at least not then. MTI mode does not rely on the Doppler effect so "notching" should do nothing unless I'm missing something. If you're locked and it fires, you're done for, tier or skill level are moot points. *Note: With chaff or "notching" the _radar_ will lose lock on the plane but will continue to send information to the missile which will track the target on its own, effectively acting as if the radar was unaffected. My point is that notched or not, locked or lost, the missile is going to hit anyway
so r24r is not useful anymore? i've been trying to use it but never got to actually use it lol.. nobody wants to head-on with me. anyway, the vapor trail forms precisely above 5750m from what i've tested. so safe altitude to fly would be around 5500m. You won't get trails formed when you drop the throttle to 0, but idk if that's wise thing to do. really affects players like me who like to silently kill enemies with ir missile. And also mach cone. Looks cool, but can't see shit. You have to drop airbrake to quickly remove it when dogfighting lol
man if F14s just learn to drop afterburner and fully extend the wings they would do so much better in dogfights but ofc they just keep afterburning and keep their wings fully swept back or have the wings on auto swep :/
You forgot to mention that you can't change the range of the radar until above a certain altitude either. It's so fucking annoying in Sim. If you try to stay low you're locked at 19 miles so you have NO situational awareness. It is also incredibly shit at holding locks but we all know that already.
Just discovered you on mig 23 stuff. Surprised at how small your sub count is for how quality these vids are. Hope you come back soon!!
Thank you so much your videos on the Mig 23 ML/A. I've really improved since watch these video averaging 1-2 kills per game from around 0.5 kills
Nice! Glad the videos have been helpful!
Man your content is amazing. Both informative and entertaining pls upload more.
Thank you kind internet stranger, this might just help me trying to get something out of my 23ML, you have my sub
Well made video, deserves way more views imo. Keep up the great world dude.
Thanks!
@@eesangWT No problem!
Love the vid mate. Hope to see more down the road!
what a dogfight lmao, excellent video man ! discovered you like 3 days ago and i learned a lot from your videos already thanks for the work
Glad you found them helpful!
absolutely ADORE your videos!
Thanks! Happy you enjoy them.
Mig-23s and r-60ms have been over performing insanely the past couple of days, feels like gaijin buffed em to help players grind to mig 29.

Can y’all explain how the IR lock can help with the missile guidance? I’ve been getting kills with the R24T but didn’t use the IR lock.
Can you make one for the F4S?

Contrail formation depends on the map but it only varies by about 500m; test flight is always the same map for the same jet.
@@eesangWT oh it varies? i should look back more often then lol
anyway, it looks funny for me how they instantly form up above certain altitude.
I hope to use these tips later on when I get home cause so far I'll be lucky if I get 1 kill every 2 games (mig 23ml user 💀)

F-14 players that don't touch their wing sweep would really be better off playing F-4S, F-4EJ Kai, or Kurnass 2000 instead.

Every time I see the "Pilot" title I know it's a level 20 player in a Premium they just bought. Always is.
Also that enemy teamkill after you killed the "Pilot" lmao... WT Players are such scumbags.
