Getting something for cartaya was nice, but I was hoping for the Dodgers to strike a bigger deal with the Twins that included Duran and Lewis. If Friedman wants to really impress, find a taker for Taylor. That would be impressive.
CT3 also has a $4M buy out for 2026 so with the 2025 salary, that’s $17M total. The Dodgers would likely have to eat over half of it to move him. It’s likely not how they want to allocate their funds, especially considering Taylor is still versatile on defense, just not worth $17M for it.
Just a question! No one mentions Dustin May anymore he throws gas but not long lasting. Any thoughts or have you guys heard anything about him being the closer.
Only one year left so even if he is used sparingly as a back up (in case of injury), it should be ok. But he is also a trade chip since he only has that one year left on his deal.

People are forgetting about Pages. If he catches on this year we can keep him in center and put Edman at 2nd where he won a gold glove and we'll be set!
I get the Max Muncy love 100 walks a year but also 100 ks a year. Never gets the big hit with runners in scoring position but yes has a good eye I'm still a lil old school.
What you are forgetting is that here is the Dodger bench right now that is set is: Rojas, Barnes, Taylor, Kim. And once they sign Kike, that puts Rojas, Taylor, Kim, or Kike starting at 2nd base. There is simply no room for Pages on the bench unless: 1. You don't sign Kike. 2. You get rid of Taylor. 3. You option Kim down to the minor leagues. Neither of those 3 things is likely to occur.
Everyone is saying Dodgers are the evil empire. Yes, they spend but at least they are investing in talent. They probably should’ve lost the WS last year. Each series was on a fine line. Should’ve definitely lost the Padres series. But then again, they should’ve won the WS vs the Astros a few years ago. If Snell and Yamamoto/Glasnow go down then we will be in trouble.
Dodgers sign tanner Scott or Dodgers trade MiguelRojas ,ChrisTaylor and JamesOutman to Philips for Jordan Romano or st louis for Ryan Helsley bullpen pitching or trade seiya suzuki

Friedman is amazing, but he's not a miracle worker. NOBODY in MLB wants that Taylor contract.
Maybe at the trade deadline since he has an expiring contract? Maybe?

Scott is the best ball knower!
Scott speaks in tongues and doesn't know shit.

Too bad they can't find a taker for Chris Taylor.

@@chrisprice1706 Well, what do you propose? Arenado, at this point in his career, is not a significant upgrade. Muncy was a beast in the NLCS.

I understand what the podcast is stating, but Lux had some experience in the OF so he wasn't a one-dimensional fielder
That didm't work out!
The “some” experience was not a great experience.
