I love how each episode is hand made. other testers use looper pedals or maybe an A/B switch, NOT ANDERSON'S! Each demo is hand played, each cable swap is hand moved. The Captain spares no expense in exporting the finest Dutch Guitarists for your artisan demo videos. What a class act.

The built in reactive attenuator and reverb makes these the perfect amps for so many people. Affordable too! Perfection.

I think Paul is a great addition. He can do the cool bluesy jams this channel is so great at, but he can also handle some more speedy, modern playing styles. Would be cool to see him demoing some more modern guitars and amps. And as i expected the chemistry between the presenters grew over time, like it did with Mick and Pete. God, i love this channel!

Agreed. They look cool, but are next to impossible to adjust when sitting on top of a 4x12 or a 2x12 elevated up from the floor...
Just building the panels as reversible would be pretty straight forward fix. Simple socket for all the control wiring so no extra twisting required, pop it out, flip it, pop it back in, jobs a goodun!
True...and it makes the ac15ch so hard to store up with other heads🙄😢

We need amps with a remote control for the knobs. Like robot tuners on Gibsons, but actually good.

The amps sound fantastic but I LOVE that Yamaha Revstar! Anderson's post the best guitar/amp/equipment videos on the internet. Period.
Nice to see Paul in this video. Lee, Pete and Paul are definitely my favorite to watch and listen... (not that I don't like Rob, Rabea, Mick, etc...), I just like Lee, Pete and Paul's style and playing :)

Man Pete and Paul really feed off each other soulful playing it's got that magic I would just love to see Paul use more than the neck pickup with these amps still kills it get different tones out of the one pickup but to pretender level guitar players like me we need versatility to fake different tones and sounds lol rock on guys

Thank you for the demo. Great playing as usual. I'm hoping that some of these new features will make it into future AC15 and AC30 combos. I would also like to see a single 12 version of the AC30, with all of the headroom of a 30 watt amp in a smaller, lighter combo - perhaps less than 50 pounds instead of the 70 pound 212 beast we have today.
A 1x12 AC30 has been available for ages :)
Question: What is the difference between using the high or low inputs on the top boost channel? Which one gives you the more gain?

Those Yamaha Revstar guitars look and sound great!...it helps a great player is playing for sure, but they really are nice guitars.

Great review, just what I was looking for. Been in amp hell of late trying to find something that would give me the tones i wanted but at bedroom level too..the AC15 seems to be it...now just to find a bargain! ;)
Can we have an ultimate clean amp shootout (preferably not too expensive) idk like blues junior, v40, Princeton that kind of thing for us indie guitarists and bluesers and whoever else

Another great Utube clip guys. I have a AD30 white Orange amp number 3 of 235. Fantastic twin vintage speakers. Wondering if you've seen one or could do a show with it compared to normal AD30 twin channel. I'm fender man but this amp has a great sound. Irony white Orange Amp lol.
Do they have a reverb tank like the combos? or is it digital????
Mine has a reverb tank, if you get the AC15 head though, the reverb tank could use an upgrade

Pete & Paul, you both are such a sweet & tasteful guitar players!!! And damn, those Vox heads sound so amazing. How would the AC10 be with a fuzz pedal? I just play at home now, so there's no need for a halfstack anymore(but it sure was fun!).
Could one have a lead into each input (normal and top-boost) and an A/B box and run it like a two channel, or would it suck out power?

Nice demo and playing. Not a big fan of the sound coming from the pickups, though (they sound a bit "thin" and not very punchy) - gets more tasty with the settings used at 23:26 and Pete's 335 sounds sweet at 25:44.
You have designed a new duo where the guitar player has a valet, but as a duo it's really an artistic feat.

Can I just use the head by itself to create sound? I live in an apartment and I head that the attenuator keeps this sounding good at low volumes but I haven't purchased just a head before.
ClassicRockLivesOn you’d need a separate speaker to connect to. Match impedance. Never hook up a head without it’s load being hooked up to a speaker cabinet. It will destroy the head.
You have to have some sort of speaker cabinet or there is no sound

Yes, and it's a Custom Shop strat. I have CS54's in my strat and they sound close, but Pete does seem to have a particularly nice guitar. Or tone is in the fingers, etc. (And why do some posts have letters next to them today?)
Hey - thanks for confirming. Can you tell me more about the 54s? I'm going to upgrade the SSS on a MIM Strat, and have no idea which - 54s or 69s or fat 50s.... I only thought i'd do the 54s because i like Pete's tone, but i'm not the player he is, so chasing what he's got is a bit silly.
I like the 54's because to me they are 'that' strat sound- clear, chimey, got quack, versatile. But for other folks the 69's are the typical strat tone, getting closer to Jimi etc. To me the fat 50's are OK but too fat, and something like the Texas Specials are evocative of SRV etc. but not what I personally want. It's such a personal choice, there's no right or wrong. I know some people who prefer the ceramic pups in their MIM strats for that particular rock tone. Listen to as much as you can before you choose. Good luck and happy hunting.
I love my fat 50's, though YMMV. I have played my friend's strat with CS69's and they sounded great too. Very vintage sounding. Haven't played 54's though.

For me the AC30 was hands down the best choice, go for it

Bea is a hell of a blues player if you watch some of his videos. Rob is a metal guy but Bea can definitely play blues
