- A short guide and flight for flying in Bassano del Grappa (Montegrappa), North Italy. There are numerous launches spread around the area taking different directions and Bassano is well known for still working when the rest of Europe shuts down for paragliding.
There is plenty of info out there from xcmag, paraglidingmaps.com and other Google searches but this is a brief video of each of the launches with altitude and a few bits of info I picked up from the locals.
Also here are Bassano shuttle prices, flight card information and just a little look around.
Bassano was probably the most consistent paragliding site we have been to in Europe this year, and almost everyday is flyable with thermals around for the savvy pilot.
We are looking forward to going back in September or October to get the last of the seasons flying.

Nice, Thank you for this video, I'm going there this year. as a very fresh PP2. :) have not been able to fly in the winter so far. so will be great to fly at such beautiful location.

That paraglider pulling up a harness at 3:45 was pretty funny…
Too many people rushing to get off the hill, a lot of mistakes seem to happen in Bassano like this!
