5: if you have Skins, you dont get killed when you're looking on the ground for one.
this is also a great tip haha
And if your teamate (who has a skin) dies you can camp his body to get a free kill on someone looking for a skin
That also doesn't happen if you're poor and have self control (don't look for skins mid round)
Me: has skin but picks up classic version on the floor 😎 “Look at this slick matte black version, pretty nice.”
@@ria_x_roseif you have good aim and Sense none of this will happen 🤡
I love how doctor freeze explained this in his fenzy guide video. You can feel like a gun is faster or better at spraying, and because you think that, you perform better with it. Placebo effect is a wondrous thing
I perform better with recon phantom and gaia's vengeance vandal .
Still bro their is still some aimbot bc I make crazy shots with skins sometimes but not with default
@@rorozoro7461 you just explained the placebo effect lol
@@arunabh1386 i can say for sure that's not placebo
@@rorozoro7461it is.
Skin distraction fades away as you more use the skin
Yeah that one was bullshit
Yeah, your brain just kinda learns to tune out the extra sounds
The elder flame I’ve had for ages and everytime i reload you cannot miss that sht ver noticeable when it wiggles into your hand too
@@vukvla2046To be fair, it is very distracting if the skin was recently bought.
Idk man, I bought the elderflame and then I played my best games that day and even got my first ace, psychological effects>distraction for me
It's all about mentality you feel confident with skins and often perform well.
yes
that is what he said
Maybye because of weight
Tbh, after these years, of using skins and not, it doesnt really matter for me now. I used to think that default skins better or prime better, but as time flies, whatever skins I used (except for elderflame) it doesnt matter, any skin that I picked from the ground, it doesnt matter, sometimes I purposely pick basic vandal from the ground and it doesnt matter anymore, like since I focus more on the crosshair now, I dont even realize what skin Im using at the time
For me in games if there is any customization I live by “if you look good, you play good”
Guys I keep getting distracted by how bad the default skin is that's why i'm whifing
Same
I have a few vandal skins rgx, reaver, prime and champ 23 and I feel like the default is really clean imo
@@everettj438yeah, once you get used to using skins all the time the default skin is a fresh breath and it feels easier to use
@@everettj438agree lol i put skins on my vandal but i would trade for the default one
Lmao
I never thought about how some skins might feel heavier than others, very true and creative point Mrlowlander
I always viewed the recon phantom as a light weapon skin since my flicks and sprays are more instant and smooth when I use it
@@allansmic4363 mm
you said that in the way mrlowlander would say it
@@carviz7199 LMFAO
Best example is the cryostasis hammer. Every time i pull it out i feel slower and thus i have my weapon in hand more often and strangely it helped me !

"uh dude what? why?"
"JUST GIVE IT TO ME"
"uh ok?" *drops*

You missed one, the sound of the shot, makes me think I’m shooting a lazer instead of a spitball
Yeah, but enemies don't hear the diffrenece, but I do agree with you here. Just "Pew," Satisfying *dink* Ego go up.
For me sound is a big problem. Even though I had origin vandal, it was extremely loud overall. It was disturbing and obnoxious, I recently bought Neptune and it’s much better
Bro bought skins
@@emma6648 so what? Who the he’ll are you to tell me what to do with my money. If I wanna buy skins then I’ll buy skins. What’s so wrong with it
@@DeviousMous well plenty is wrong with it but I won’t stop you but when I sht on you in game with my default skin I will make fun of you anyways but you still can buy them if you want
@@emma6648 1. I don’t play the game anymore
2. Your bronze ass couldn’t shit on anyone,
3. You still haven’t explained what’s wrong with it
Tbh this is how I used to think back then, even I wroted down a comment here about the "weight of the weapon" but as time flies, and as I focus on crosshair more now, anything doesnt matter anymore like really. I dont wanna use certain skins, and often think that basic is better, but now, as my focus changed, idc about any other thing than my crosshair and aim, any skins that I used it doesnt matter (except elderflame) and if I happen to pick a gun from the ground, I sometimes dont realize that it was the skins that I used to dislike from any perpective and I still do the calm aim, so
The last one 😂 lmfao that’s all of us fr
Tbh, the more effects get better(sound, looks, kill icon), the more encouraged you are to concentrate to get the kill for the satisfaction reward, like VCT skin last kill are the reason I am being aggressively.
A lil bit true for me, when i kill with forsaken vandal, theres like +30% chance to win the next gun-battle, accumulated.
And when enemies got SoL, +30% awareness of being finished with the SoL, as they will do the sucking gesture😂😂😂
Are we all gonna ignore the transition he just made bro
Literally wtf why is no one talking about it
I’ve been told I was crazy for thinking cosmetics have a “weight” or “feel” to them and I’m just so fucking glad this is an actual thing and I am in fact not crazy
CRAZY?? I WAS CRAZY ONCEE . THEY LOCKED ME IN A ROOM . A RUBBER ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
its just preference. if someone likes a lighter skin they'd stick with default. @@MadiTxch
as a person who spent around $2500 on val skins, I can confirm your feelings is true
@@user-ws4gg7ge3uas some who started val recently. How tf have you even spent that much that’s like the equivalent of 25 full bundles no? Do you swap skins every day or smth?
It’s like when you think about hitting a headshot you aim for the head. When you get scared you might whiff you are praying you don’t whiff and forget about aiming for the head
for me the weight of the gun is the opposite for me. the heavier guns with bassy sound have a lot of recoil, similar to the odin or heavy machine guns, so the lighter guns feel more accurate, like the prime vandal
Agreed. Part of my brain is surprised every time at how fast you can shoot the guardian without messing with the aim but you fire a couple rounds with the Vandal and you're suddenly shooting at the clouds
I feel the complete opposite using skin like glitchpop vandal makes it feel heavier and also gives it more like ak47 from csgo vibe. And I am comfortable in using that
champions 2023 is the most distracting skin. I literally just buy the skin ingame and hide somewhere while inspecting it.
the mental thing is a really good point, i can’t use the elderflame anymore, every single time i can’t control the bullets coming out it’s like only with that skin
True, forsaken gold variation and sovereign set feels heavy af to me, i am constantly looking low with them😂
Elderflame vandal placebo makes it feel like the best gun to use
The unfair disadvantage of skins.
You get killed while looking at it's inspect
As I said before the biggest advantage is the darts cause it gives away wallbang spots
True, when i have skins i perform better than normal because it doesnt feel boring and mundane and feels awesome when using it
The elderflame bullet tracers are crooked as to look like fire, so it messes me up. I need a new gun 😂💀
For me guns like reaver and 2023 champion vandals have the thickness in the shots, and the bass and…idk how to explain but it feels better.
i was literally thinking yesterday about how the feeling and sound effects of certain skins make the either far better or worse. The nerf skin always made the phantom feel so light and recoil felt uncontrollable whereas the glitchpop phantom heavy and easy to control and get hs with. Great video!
The mental one is so true. I perform so much better with the elderflame shotgun skin. Its insane
Same her with the elder flame vandal bro. Quite literally aimbot for me ngl.
i think the shot sound also adds to that, some skins sound stupid i cant aim properly lol, like my bullet can reach them or something
there's another reason, some skins are quiter than the default one, such as prime vandal, you can hear enemy footstep even when you're shooting, the opposite of that is origin which is louder than default
I personally think having a skin gives you more confidence like when ur using reaver u almost hit heads most of the time (well for me )
tysm for this. my SOL vandal feels like one of the heaviest in the game after maybe the PTC vandal. had to live through it. i love playing with battle pass skins now, i credit them taking me to immortal lol
3rd reason is too true. I use the protocol and glitchpop and I always have this placebo effect that those skins feel lighter than a default phantom.
Sound effect is the main reason
Im a bit late to this but he's absolutely right about the weight part. I love my sentinel vandal but I feel like it's heavier and louder, therefor it feels like my fire rater is slower but I have more dmg. Idk what it is. When I want to be precise, I genuinely pick the prime, it feels light and more precise to me.
Meanwhile the phantom prime feels more "plasticy" but I feel like it's has higer fire rate lol.
the cryostasis hammer makes me feel slower lmao
Blast x easily has the largest advantage because the little darts stick on any wall that can't be shot through. Easier to tell than normal
I generally mid frag but once i got a blue overdrive vandal off the ground playing yoru on split and i popped off easily getting match mvp
Don't forget the magepunk marshall zooms in quicker and the RGX op does also
i take long range duels with A LOT more confidence with recons phantom because it feels like a vandal almost and i wouldnt like panic and crouch spam with it
sound is the biggest factor, spectrum is more satisfying then default as an example
Some also make it easier to see around the scope when scoped in.
The distraction on the elderflame line is unreal 😂😂😂
also the laser on recon skins should be studied bcs i swear my accuracy is far better when using it
5: deeper gun sounds correlate with performance, even when the guns are the exact same stat wise
Weapon weight is a really big factor for me, i usually go for heavy skins on Vandal, Guardian, and Operator to enhance the power they have, while going for light skins for the suppressed weapons and the fast firing ones excluding the Odin to make that fire rate feel even faster.
it may be a small, like really SMALL help, but it all just comes down to your aim and how much you practice spraying different guns
After playing valorant for so long it’s a mental thing, I don’t care for any of the skins I have or pick up nowadays
I also find that certain sounding guns feel a lot better to shoot
There also p2lose scenarios:
1: When the Arcane sheriff came out. I got teamkilled in my first 4 games IN A ROW. Because they wanted to use it themselves.
2: Lots of "give me skin or i throw"
3: Teammates wasting their time asking for skin drop instead of going to their positions and thus we have a bad defence because X isnt defending ___ side.
Heavy feeling is not about gun skins but about knifes. Like kuronami feels very light compared to cryostasis hammer
clearly on my end the glitchpop make me confident as hell! IDK why but just love it so much! xD
My headshots improved after I used the prime vandal. I also started gettingore ome taps after getting that cowboy sheriff.
Earlier I used to give any picked up any skins I picked to teammates bcos I felt I was getting distracted by it. But now I feel fine with any skin except elderflame
Can confirm the last one
I play way better with my reaver vandal and prime phantom than the regular ones
i feel like the only one to say this, but the vandal is absolutely destroy with when i choose it is the origin red vandal, idk what it is, but the gun feels so skinny, slim, and just feels so accurate to shoot
The Placebo effect goes hard on Recon Phantom
Some skin gives you the informations about how much recoil you got. Like "This skin makes my phantom heavier, I should move my mouse like this".
And sometimes, this sense is just the thing you need to control your aim.
Can you do some killjoy tricks?(also keep up the good work I love your videos)
lol the weight thing is funny bc it also goes for the agents. i play Jett and Reyna which feels lighter thank brimstone and Breach
and the reload animation, the skin one may have a different change animation and gives you more eye sight when reloading
dude this game looks so similar to overwatch in artstyle that everytime I see a short like this I'm like, huh overwatch looks different than I remember.
elderflame, glitchpop vandal feels heavy to me, champions 2021 vandal hits the spot well
The bullet tracers might be the reason why i get more kills in pistol round using a prime classic
We all know the prime vandal gives aim bot
Fr
The shake on glitchpop vandal messes me up
The first point is the most important as the bullet tracers on skins are much better than the actual one which helps you spray even a vandal if just in case you missed you first shot
Mental reasons for sure i don’t have skins but when i pickup prime, reaver vandal that’s all i need to ace the whole match 😅
Elderflame has a disadvantage, but its too good 😭
I buy skins specifically for their bullet tracers. It is an added advantage in the game.
Chronovoid for the win.
Having a skin I like pushes me to use the weapon, which gives me more practice, that's how I became an AWPer on CSGO
"Out of this world" guy💀
The weight one is so true. Let's say the prime or reaver vandal feels a lot more powerful then the regular one
Prime vandal feels heavier, somehow it makes easier to burst control and the headshot sounds are crispier
You forgot your enmies moral , a man with dragon fighting me I would freak out
You look good, you fight good
Weight is so tru. I literally have loadouts depending on that.
Heavy: RGX Vandal, RES Phantom( Orange Var.)
Light: Magepunk Vandal, Glitchpop Phantom
lowlander just dropped the biggest loop of the century and thought we wouldnt notice
fr the feeling of holding the gun with diff skins is totally insane some it feels heavy sometimes its so light
I think audio feedback is the biggest reason here, some sounds have a better feedback for the actual impact of the recoil
If i ever get distracted from the elder flame animation or the sound it makes i rather die then cause its too satisfying and fun to watch plus thw dragons arw cute they act like cats and i love it
That’s mainly the reasons I can one tap on a vandal with skins, but if I’m on an alt acc with no skins I have to use a phantom to spray haha, default vandal feels too clunky
I completely agree with how the skin make the weight of the gun feels diff, like he mention the recon feels so stable and secure rather than other skin like singularity
when im pick up a skin i feel better myself, and its easyer to get tap shots with skins
skins do fee heavier, but you have them mixed up! spectrum feels heavy and recon feels light!
I find it funny how the second reason literally makes no sense people choose to use skins so it’s their own fault if they get distracted
The best phantom, the reckon phantom 😎
One thing I do feel is that some guns while shooting sound less harsh as compared to some laser guns. It feels more pleasant. The sound might affect how gameplay does work.
For some reason, if my gun skin shooting sound is a pew pew, like for example prime or spectrum, I can shoot better than the booms on say reaver or araxys
I take more longer range fights with recon spectre than I ever would've tried with default lmaoo
The first reason doesn't make any sense since even the traces are inaccurate, they go into a spot, but when you look at the byllet holes, it's a totally different one.
Wait till i get reaver and ull see me tapping heads
idk if it’s just me but i’ve always said this about the GP vandal it feels so heavy
Better feeling with the skin ≠ better aim
3rd opinion applies to cs too and i think it makes a slight difference on gameplay. I feel like I'm a better awper when using asiimov and it also feels lighter because of simplicity of the skin
The best loud sound is in the magepunk guardian. It feels like shooting a Schwerer Gustav artillery on the enemies.
Recon Phantom is another level❤
the loop killed me
Elderflame makes you go super saiyan
The model and the sound of a skin can give you an unfair advantage
It's mostly placebo but in the end it comes down to "if you feel good you play good"
ahh the human brain. the placebo effect... but yeah this is so accurate
