An induction heat portable burner and some cookware (a pot, a skillet) would serve you much better. Not only could you boil water for eggs, but for noodles and other foods. You could also steam veggies. Adding a skillet would allow you to make scrambled or fried eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches, and all kinds of other foods.
Always go for a halogen oven.
@@KimberlyGreen yea induction stoves are convenient, too bad we're not allowed to use that. I currently have a water heater, toaster, and a heating pot which I use to boil eggs.

I have this and I love it. I’ve only ever made hard boiled eggs though. I’ve been scared to make anything else. I love that I can put the eggs in and walk away to do whatever and the beep will let me know the eggs are done. I never worry about the water boiling out. They always come out perfectly.
If you put the hard-boiled egg yolks & the rest of the ingredients into a little sandwich bag, you can use the bag to mix the stuffing for deviled eggs. Snip off a corner to use the bag as a piping bag. No bowl to wash, and you don't have to use a separate piping bag.

Yuck, when the buzzer went off you should have pressed it again. You just put too much stuff in there so that the eggs couldn’t cook. Still you should’ve just added a little more water to the bottom, and then press the button again. Just as in real cooking, you have to know science and chemistry. Some people have that innate ability ability and some people do not! It’s not the machines fault, it’s your fault that you don’t know how to adjust.
I have this exact egg cooker. I love it and it’s definitely not subpar like someone commented. I steam veggies in it too.

If you want a dryer Omelet (Omelette) leave the Dish inside the bubble lid for an extra two mins or so, then - the water can evaporate more and your creation can be more fluffy!
I have one of these and I've found that the omelets cook all the wat through with the water lever for med-hard boiled egg. It comes out really fluffy with no condensation at all! It also helps to add a splash of milk or cream.
So you are adding more water. On the side 1-3 eggs, med hard is higher than the omelette line.

My wonderful sis in law gave me this egg cooker. Best gift ever! It does eggs correctly every time. I am not concerned about the look of the poached egg. It actually did it correctly, so that part of your review was not spot on. For the money it costs, which is like $20, this is the best appliance that works consistently.
I have one of these I’ve meal prepped with it for years. Super easy, the eggs are cooked perfectly, and I have space on my stove for other things. Best $6 I’ve ever spent. I just use it for soft boiled eggs. But if you use it correctly, it’s amazing

I’ve had my dash egg cooker since December, I generally use it for hard boiled or soft boiled. It depends on the size of the egg as to how it comes out. I love mine, I can start my breakfast and by the time I’m Done making my lunch breakfast is ready.
I've had mine for about 2 years and I use it so much. It cooks the eggs perfectly every time

I got one of these as a gift and I use it all the time, it is wonderful. It's great if you only need to make one or two eggs, if you live in a dorm, and/or if you tend to forget you're using the stove. Note: Pierce the shell while the egg is still in the carton.

I have this thing. I love it. You have to poke a tiny hole in the top of the egg before you cook it and the cool thing is, when you dump the cooked eggs into the ice bath, which you should, a little bit of water goes in between the shell and the egg and it makes them so easy to peel. Also, I like my boiled eggs a little soft cooked and this makes them perfect every time.
I got mine for Christmas last year and love mine. It's easy to peel when they are done and I'm such a multitasker so it's nice to not pay attention to just that.

My sister bought this for us and we love it. It’s adorable and so convenient for boiling eggs and even steaming buns, cooking frozen meatballs, sausages, etc.

I actually own one of these ...I love hard boiled eggs and this machine saved my life. They are always perfect. ALSO for breakfast sandwiches? The round cup is perfectly shaped for English muffins. Love it!
Alot of my family have one and they love it!!! Its convenient so u dont have to wait for water to boil !! My family only uses it to "boil" eggs!

You can also steam brussel sprouts in the same tray that holds the eggs. Steams fresh brussel sprouts perfectly every time. Fill measuring container halfway for brussel sprouts.
I have used 2 different brands of egg cookers just like this one and the trick is that the amount of water isn't always accurate on the measuring cup. You also have to consider the size & amount of eggs that are being cooked & adjust the amount of water used.
It works perfectly for boiled eggs & makes them much easier to peel. Omelets for me have turned out very good & I have never had a poached egg so I can't vouch for that.
Just remember, practice makes perfect with these egg cookers. & my favorite one so far came from Fleet Farm. I don't remember the brand name but it's black & grey.
Also, the instructions should tell you how to clean it. Just wipe it with a soft, damp, sponge between uses.

I had one when I lived in the barracks which is like a dorm-room sort of lmao I still have it for meal prep using hard boiled eggs super easy for the mornings or night before
I have one of these and use it all the time, easy in the morning for hard or soft boiled eggs without having to watch water boil, I also like the poached function for adding to ramen, but if you are going to make an omelet just use a pan, but otherwise I really like this gadget

I make hardboiled eggs most days when I'm in a hurry to get to work, my son loves them for breakfast and it's easy for me. This would be great for me to pop them in, go finish getting ready and they'll sing to me when they're done lol. Instead of standing by the boiling pot the whole time for safety
