@@gromaholic5745 love mine, few gripes tho: stock exhaust is awful, needs replaced asap (its absurdly heavy, gets wayyy to hot and stays hot for ever); they are known for some false neutrals (shift fully, use the full swing of shifter when shifting and that goes away); my 690 and i know a few others (and 701's) that have had countershaft seal issues, mine was replaced several times (fixed now that KTM has re designed seal); lack of skid plate/ belly pan from stock is kinda silly, exposed engine case gets pitted if you got in gravel, i sugest a belly pan if you plan to off road at all. other than that this bike is a perfect bike to do most everything, smiles all day long, power for highway, flickable for canyons, and does very well off road (tires being the down fall there). i have put 3.5k miles on mine in 10 months.... been mostly smiles (outside of the countershaft seal issues, but small gremlins are to be expected in a redesign bike)
