IT WAS NORMAL MOVEMENT. Battlefront II has the exact movements and droids canonically can move that fast, they usually are in slow moving formations tho
Wet blanket time - they have high definition models and textures for B-1s and B-2s. Commando droids were just in the animated series, so they'd have to build a whole new model from scratch. Easier to just make it a B-2.
My theory on why the b2 “got the sprints” is bc it was hollowed out when it became a loader droid, we know that b2s had powerful inbuilt blasters inside them, what if the entire blaster part of the b2, that could unload a shit ton of high power bolts, was removed, and that made the b2 a lot lighter than it ever was during the war, so all it had left were powerful motors previously used to carry the powerful and heavy blasters inside it, so now it can run fast, because it has nothing to carry. It’s also possible that a some armor plating was removed, along with other weapon army systems, and that all that’s left here are the motors, droid brain and a battery

This, explains how they are so agile since they literally are just bare boned than the one in service in combat but left enough components in droids so they could perform duties with lift difficulty.
