After having Kampa air awning and various other awnings and all the rubbish problems of air poles (they only work on level pitch) along with the thin materials, I cried ! Why did I get rid of my Isabella? Go around any site that isn’t 100% level and the only awning that looks like it is up properly is the Isabella. Any one want to buy my Kampa Air Pro 390? I bought it as appeared simple and easy to put up. First pitch was a nice level hard stand, still day, and it did the job but I needed the extra pole kit and still leaves gaps. Next pitch was nearly level front to back but went uphill from caravan as you looked out the door. Suddenly you realise you can’t adjust air poles and as soon as it rained it pooled water, and that took 37 pegs , again I cried. Hence why I looked at this solution. Sad thing is I sold my 5 year old Isabella for £1000 when I bought the Kampa, and turns out I could have used this solution. New Isabella on the way and thanks for this video
I understand measuring the beading from the left in order to cut. That’s so the left side will reach from rail to floor. However isn’t it just luck that it drops between the window and door? If you had used a bigger awning the drop may have been over the window. What’s the best way to measure to ensure best fit? Hope that makes sense.
Hi, to measure up for this, you need to decide if you are going to fit from the front or the rear of the caravan. Measure from the ground, along the awning rail to where you want the awning to come down, and then down to the ground. This measurement will let you know what size awning will fit. I want to do this with my dorema Dayton awning. It’s too small to be a full size awning. Where can I get the pad, the channeling and extra leg from?
Where do you buy the pad and accessories to do this. I can't find anywhere.
