Just curious, are the large sterilizer drums (bubba, or home made) not capable of sterilizing spawn? If so, why do you use the pressure cookers for spawn?
My thought is that yes they can sterilize grain but making that amount of grain spawn is not needed. spawn to substrate ratio is far less than amount of sub needed therefore only a smaller setup is needed for grain saving time and $$. 24 hrs to sterilize in low pressure system compared to 90 mins in autoclave or PC

Thanks Eric! What are the temps and intervals you use for spawn and for agar. It will save me some trial and error.
242 or whatever gets the rocker going hard for 10 min 240 for 10 min, then 120f for 200 min to soak until im ready to pour.

It's a auber PID there should be a kit link in the description with all the products. Are you running a SSR off the PID?
