And somehow, he's way better than Tommy Wiseau himself. Who would have thought that the movie about making the worst movie ever will be one of the best movie of 2017?
Haha, what a funny movie Jeremy! So anyways, how's your sex life? Edit: It's not true, its bullshit! I deed naht get 2.1k+ likes! I deed NAAAHHHT....o hai commenters.
You can love a movie deep inside your heart. There is nothing wrong with it. If Hollywood made alot of movies that audiences loved, the world would be a better place to live.
I don't think the room is the worst film ever made. It's really Bad, yes, but there is worst. At least The room is a project of passion, not like 50 shades of grey. At least The Room give positive emotion by beeing so bad it's funny, not like Disaster Movie. At Least it's somewhat well made for a independant movie, not like Birdemic.
"Yeah, can I have a dozen red roses?" "Oh, hi Johnny I didn't know it was you, here you go" "That's me, how much is it?" "That'll be $18" "Here you go keep the change, hi doggy" "You're my favorite customer" "Thanks a lot, bye"
TheBraunMachine2011 Nostalgia Critic Version: "Hello, I would like to buy a dozen roses, please." "HEY, JACKASS! I'M CLOSING MAH STORE AT 30 SECONDS!" "Okay. Here's the money. Keep the change. Hi, Doggy. Bye."
The Disaster Artist was one of the best fims to be released in 2017. It also happens to have the best screen performance of actor Janes Franco who is funny, exciting and unpredictable all at the same time. Jeremy Jahns presented a good review of the movie. I love Jeremy"s reviews of current movies. He always manages to be fascinating no matter what movie he"s talking about!
This is actually the start of the “Disaster Artist” Cinematic Universe. The Disaster Artist 2 will be based on Derek Savage’s making of “Cool Cat Saves the Kids”, and TDA3 will be based on Neil Breen’s making of “Double Down”.
Tommy W. certainly isn't the kind of guy who cares what others think. He wanted fame and attention and has gotten it solely on having one of the worst movies ever. Sad thing is there are worse movies that aren't worth attempting to watch but the room is so funny and strange that you find yourself enjoying it without trying.
Yes, but most bad movies are bad because they're tossed together for a quick buck and no one involved gives a shit. Wiseau was in love with every second of his film and that passion overflows and makes The Room what it is. It's why we watch a terrible movie and love it. We can feel his effort to make something great and appreciate it, despite it falling so utterly short. It's an experience!
If one has to suck--suck all the way. Tommy W. deserves to be legend by the simple virtue of him not being a middle-of-the-road mediocrity. The Room could've been a bad film, but instead it was one of the worst films of all time! It truly is the Citizen Kane of trash. And I think it's beautiful.
I am diagnosed with depression, often self harming...But Jeremy's videos always enlighten my crappy day, I felt that he is my funny friend talking about movies, thank you Jeremy
I remember when I was a teaching assistant and there was a snow day, but a few of us had already shown up. The lecture hall was essentially a giant theater (with a digital screen wall), so instead of just sending us back out on the road, the professor said "alright, let's have some fun" and put "The Room" on. If you think just watching it on your own for laughs is an experience, imagine seeing it in a theater with other people to commiserate with. It was dumbfoundingly magical.
I’m a film student and I’m in a club at my college where we watch cult classic movies (most of them aren’t of great quality) every week and a common phrase tossed around is “if this film could be made, you have no excuse not to make one.” I think this movie embodies that idea more than any other movie
I’ve loved to hate the film ever since I watched the Nostalgia Critic’s review of it. It’s a masterpiece for all the wrong reasons. The Disaster Artist was one of my favourite films of the year. Hilarious, smart, and surprisingly touching in some places. James and Dave Franco killed it in these roles, highly recommend.
i am looking forward to seeing this, i remember my friends dragging me to see this while still in highschool telling me it was a must watch and not telling me anything else so i went in this movie blind. they even bought my ticket cause i was poor so i thought what the hell why not. i remember thinking i hope this movie doesn't feel long and hoping i wouldn't be bored. oh the laughter me and my friends produced. it was one of my favorite moments in going to the movies. we quoted this movie for years. and when i first found out by seeing the trailer earlier this year i sent it to all my buddies and we went back to quoting the film all over again.
I just saw this today, and you're right. It does put a lot of things in contacts, even if the original was out of it. My favorite part of it was the shot for shot scene split screen at the end.
I won't lie, when I heard the story behind it and how he decided to just go for it on his own after being rejected; I had to applaud to him. Not many people in the world would ACTUALLY take the lemons life gives them and make lemonade. I just wish he was humble enough to have hired some sort of co-writer or co-director lol. If it was a success, that would have been a damn good underdog story.
That'd be amazing. One of the best filmmakers ever with arguably the worst filmmaker ever, it would be hilarious. Spielberg would probably have such a fun time
I loved this The Disaster Artist, The Room and the book. Reminded me of driving out to LA in the mid 90s going for the dream, meeting interesting like minded artists and musicians all just crazy and naive enough to follow their dreams.
"...And since I haven't given one of these out in quite some time..." The moment he said that, I knew Awesometacular was incoming. You didn't tear me apart with this one, Jeremy!
1:01 wrong Jeremy, _I'm_ the one who forces my friends to watch The Room. So far only three of my friends have appreciated its majesty. The rest complained until I gave up and turned off the movie.
You need to watch The Room, Jeremy!! I have seen it three times now, the third time at a theater with a friend of mine. It was like MST3K, where the audience was making jokes and throwing spoons at the screen. That was the most fun I have had at a movie!!
Joshua V. Harding I don't think Tom Hiddleston would pull it off. I love the guy and he's good in certain roles like Loki. Just don't think he would be good as Tommy Wiseau. Also James Franco looks alot more like Wiseau than Tom Hiddleston.
Finally watched this hilarious tribute! It was so enjoyable even as just a random story given I still haven't seen The Room but have researched it quite a bit. I haven't quite found the right person to sit down with for that 😂 maybe I'll drag someone to see in theaters
cant wait to see biopic about james franco in the future with the lead actor portraying james portraying tommy, and also being the director of said biopic
*YOU'RE TEARING ME APART JEREMY*
Justin Young 😂😂😂
U r the ninja who commented the same shit in chris stuckmann's video ....
Haha
Justin Young “ha ha ha, what a great story Mark.”
Fuck, 47 minutes late.
James Franco acts and directs in a film playing a director who acts and directs in a film. DIRECTORCEPTION
This comment made my head hurt.
BWOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM
Now for a movie named Directorception based on this movie with the lead actor being the director!
And somehow, he's way better than Tommy Wiseau himself. Who would have thought that the movie about making the worst movie ever will be one of the best movie of 2017?
The Room will always be better than The Disaster Artist. The Room is still shown in theaters after 14 years, The Disaster Artist won't be.
"Its real Hollywood movie"
"no mickey mouse stuff"
Dude such a perfect comment
Oh hai Jeremy!

They didn't overly dub over their lines in their scene recreations which made me sad
24 Frames Of Nick I think that's because it borderlines on not being a joke and is just bad film making
Yeah man, YMS is such a great channel
KruphixMTG they could have had a scene where they dub lines but they just ignored it like it’s not something that very obviously happened.
Too bad Jeremy didn't over dub his video.
+The Warrior Teddy
I find YMS to be overrated .
“Oh hi Mark”.
Awesome Productions hi doggy

This is the rating tommy would’ve wanted for his movie.

Oh hi Jeremy, I didn't know it was you.

The story of the making of a dogshit movie that lead to an awesometacular movie. Tommy Wiseau, this movie is for you.
I am diagnosed with depression, often self harming...But Jeremy's videos always enlighten my crappy day, I felt that he is my funny friend talking about movies, thank you Jeremy
Jeremy's review of a James Franco/Seth Rogen movie is 4:20?
Sounds about right.
I did not hit her.. I DID NOOTTT.... *Oh hi Jeremy*
I cannot tell you what I think about The Disaster Artist or The Room. I cannot tell you; it's confidential.
Jadin Rosh Anyway, How's your sex life?

I’ve loved to hate the film ever since I watched the Nostalgia Critic’s review of it. It’s a masterpiece for all the wrong reasons.
The Disaster Artist was one of my favourite films of the year. Hilarious, smart, and surprisingly touching in some places. James and Dave Franco killed it in these roles, highly recommend.
I bet half the movie is just people throwing a football at each other

Imagine the irony if this film won best picture in the Oscars.
Ed Wood 2: Tommy Boogaloo.
Saw 'The Room' years ago with friends.
We all thought it was a flaming pile of dogshit.
We instantly rewatched it.

*me
sorry
My head snapped so fast toward the screen when you said "and I haven't given one of these in some time so" I was genuinely SHOCKED
When the movie about the making of the worst movie ever is way better than the actual movie.
Anyway, how's your sex life?
It's been a long time since I finished a movie with a smile on my face. This film deserves an award.
You're tearing me apart LISA!!
I won't lie, when I heard the story behind it and how he decided to just go for it on his own after being rejected; I had to applaud to him. Someone should get Tommy and Spielberg together to talk about movies for an Hour!!!
That'd be amazing. One of the best filmmakers ever with arguably the worst filmmaker ever, it would be hilarious. Spielberg would probably have such a fun time
Jeremy, did you see the scene after the credits ended? It was amazing.
Oh hi Mark
Oh hi Mark
Hello.
Oh hey Johnny, what's up?
I have problem with Lisa. She said that I hit her.

Jeremy, can you review The Room?
No, I can't. Anyway, how's your sex life?

Has anyone seen Francos film Palo Alto? That was one of the most refreshing films i have ever seen. A real catcher in the eye.
I clicked so fucking quick
1:01 wrong Jeremy, _I'm_ the one who forces my friends to watch The Room.
So far only three of my friends have appreciated its majesty. The rest complained until I gave up and turned off the movie.
How is Jeremy's hair so black and perfect? Is it fake?
You need to watch The Room, Jeremy!! I have seen it three times now, the third time at a theater with a friend of mine. It was like MST3K, where the audience was making jokes and throwing spoons at the screen. That was the most fun I have had at a movie!!
The Room was a lot like the last season of The Office (US). Awkward, cringy and lacking Michael Scott.
MaC S3th I liked the last season
Fair enough. For me it felt like the joke pool has run dry.
MaC S3th season 5 was the last truly good season of that show
nah fam season 9 isnt bad 8 is atrocious
"We do big."
Tommy Wiseau,
Final sentence of the motivating speech to his filming crew,
Los Angeles 2003

Oh hi Jeremy didnt realize it was you. You're my favorite reviewer
I DID NNAAAAAAWT
I love how he has "oh hi mark" as one of the tags for this
Why doesn't Tom Hiddleston play Tommy Wiseau?
Joshua V. Harding he already did.
BlueKnight the fuck are you talking about
Forfax Sake in Thor ragnorak he has a black suit and long hair lol
Joshua V. Harding I don't think Tom Hiddleston would pull it off. I love the guy and he's good in certain roles like Loki. Just don't think he would be good as Tommy Wiseau. Also James Franco looks alot more like Wiseau than Tom Hiddleston.
John Castillo don’t take him seriously lol
Finally watched this hilarious tribute! It was so enjoyable even as just a random story given I still haven't seen The Room but have researched it quite a bit. I haven't quite found the right person to sit down with for that 😂 maybe I'll drag someone to see in theaters
I did not watch it, it's not true, it's bullshit, I did not watch it, I did not.... O hi Jeremy
