People should know firstly that AGT is a show. The judges are part of the show. So,judges also have to do little acting for the show. People get scared,but there is no need to be scared. Before each performance,the contestant is asked and enquired by management whether its perfectly safe for audience and judges. There is full planning about the performance. Here, Howie Mandel is a part of the act. He is given full assurance before this act that he will be completely safe.
Judges are also part of the show. They have been judging for at least 10 years. So, they know most of the tricks and secrets of magicians or illusionists. Just by watching on youtube, i can reveal so much tricks, then its obvious the judges know more than us. But,they act so that the show will be popular.

Very nice routine!! You see there are two ones, two twos, two threes and TWO FOURS on this act that are really really amazing.
Incredibly basic trick for the semi finals. The back of the blocks were just all marked, so he knew what number each block was even with it flipped over. He knew obviously, that Howie was in #2. So whatever choice the judges made, he would either grab the blocks they chose, or the blocks they didn’t. He was good either way. Had Mel and Heidi grabbed the #2,he would’ve simply used the two blocks they didn’t take. Just as when Simon chose the block Howie was in, he took the other one. Lame. I liked Aaron in his audition, but he’s gotten progressively worse with every appearance using simpler tricks each time. The opposite of what he should be doing!
It was very similar to his last routine only on a larger scale. None of his recent routines have been “new” by any means. They’re all variations of old routines.
Worse? His second was the best! Then the first, then this, then the third

This trick is not an act that deserves to be in the finals. the judges never chose what box to crush. Why would he crush Heidi and Mel's choice and not crush Simon's. The secret is in him not talking, if he talked he would have to say what he would do with the blocks, but since he doesn't talk he can just switch it around. This is the same as the quarterfinals act with nothing being changed. If either Mel b or Heidi chose #2 then he would have just crushed the other 2 if Simon put the block on number 4 he would have just crushed #4. I know what you might be thinking "but the glasses represent Howie" No those were just for effect. So that way he could just switch it up and it would be seem okay. Also I don't think that these people would be okay with endangering the judges life

Aaron Crow has not done nearly as well after he switched to magic. Wish he'd go back to doing what he did the first two acts. Magic really doesn't work as well when you're quiet.

I'm trying to figure out why these magic acts have not worked well for Aaron Crow. I thought I figured it out, but you disproved that theory. Maybe it's because I've seen these kinds of acts before, and he doesn't offer anything unique to them?
Tyler Freeman also how is this magic? It isn’t. The judges picked, and he cut the rope. That isn’t magic, and if it is to you, then you must find water dripping out of a tap ‘magic’

I think he's puts on a great act and some of them do place you on the edge of your seat. If one of us were the one who had a pineapple on our head with a sword coming toward our face? We'd be scared SH*Less!
If Mel.B. Keeps pressing her X during a silent possibly death ending act? One act may go completely bad because of that loud buzzer! If she can't take the drama then don't Judge! These are professionals they do this for a living. They practice day/night! By Heidi and Mel saying one of his acts took to long? I wonder if they'd say that if they were up on the stage in the performance themselves? I think Aaron is good and I like the mysteriousness by his being silent. It's his look and style that makes him unique.

I think if the judges weren’t so intimidated by his stage persona they might have been a bit more critical of this performance. It was the same concept as his last appearance, only on a grander scale. Last time..4 containers, one with a sharp knife inside and the “danger” was Simon might get his hand stabbed. This time 4 crates and by process of elimination Howie escapes getting crushed. I kept waiting for Simon to comment on the similarities between the two routines.

I had a feeling that Howie was in box #2 before the act. But I love Aaron Crow and he is a wonderful performer. I think he is going to be in the danger zone tomorrow night. I am happy though Simon did not choose the wrong box! 🙂

I thought it was a great trick! For the people who think it’s lame remember, his acting was phenomenal! He knew which one Howie was in and he was able to play it off very well when Simon chose the wrong box. Performing magic tricks is very much about the acting as it is the trick and I thought he did great.

All these people complaining about skill, well why aren't you on that stage. If you think it is easy to put an entire act together or five, why haven't you done it yourself.
You can't just go up on stage with a magic trick/ danger act that is easy to do, you have to create a likable charater and make a good show.

I liked his judge cuts performance wayyy better, it actually used talent to shoot the arrow. This... not so much imo
He didn't actually shoot an arrow. It's silly to believe that was real. It's like magician throwing knives trick where they pretend to throw knives around a person. All of his acts are magic tricks.
You do know the arrow retracted towards him. It’s not even a real arrow.

He didn’t shoot an arrow. Watch his Britain’s Got Talent performance of the same trick in slow motion. You can see the the arrow is just a piece of string pulled to look like an arrow, and when he “shoots” it, he just lets go of it so it “disappears”. He also used a laser to make it look like there was actually an arrow too. He has performed this trick multiple times, and you don’t see the arrow flying in any of them. An arrow never touches the apple, and you can clearly see so in other camera angles. There is a rig inside of the apple on top of the volunteer’s head, and it slices out a portion of the apple on command. And in every single one of his performances of this trick, the arrow “hits” the target just below the center. If you look closely at the target, you can see a slit below the center where the arrow popped up from. And how about the ring? After he took Heidi’s ring, he “put it inside” the apple. When he presses his finger inside the apple, he was really just pushing the ring back into his hand. Then he went over and “adjusted” the target. When he “adjusted” the target, he just slid the ring on the arrow that was already built into the back of the target. He uses very basic magic tricks in every performance he does, and makes it dramatic enough so that people don’t notice. Other magicians do it all the time, some even do it better. It took him no talent or skill whatsoever.
lol he never shoot arrow, that was simply trick of synchronization of 3 acts (fake arrow that never left bow, automatic knife of plate and automatic pressed arrow in target)

Stephanie Leonard so that’s his fault then as his acts went backwards. When your a finalist you need to step your game up . Maybe he has talent but when it really counted he didn’t show that .

@@cosechanegra1880 he has marked all the four blocks marked it's number at the back. He already knew the person is in 2nd box. So he was choosing whether to brake the one which was picked by the judges or not .
@@cosechanegra1880 in the final one he knows that 2nd block was picked by that judge that's why he went with the one unpicked. This would have done the same thing with the first 2 judges if they had picked 2nd block. The worst trick I have ever seen.

Simon chose the box to save, not the one to destroy this week. Which is why he placed the glasses onto two.
@@tylermace6962 which ever choice he makes he makes the other. He knows which blocks are which and knows Howie is in box 2. So it will always be number 2 and another number. Then which ever the person picks he will either keep, or take depending on if it's 2 or not.
Notice when Simon wants to change his final answer, he can’t... notice how forcefully he holds his hand on the same and then Simon says he’ll stay with his block. Not real forceful, but you will see what I mean. Go to 5min mark
Because once you answer you can’t change your answer that’s part of the trick.
