So Lay's potatoes are treated like royalty-perfect soil, smart sensors, and even a water massage before turning into chips. Meanwhile, my potatoes just sit on the counter waiting to be fried. 😂🥔
this video is really insightful and well-made! it's fascinating to see how much goes into making something as simple as chips. but honestly, the amount of processed ingredients used kinda makes me wonder if they're more of a snack or a science experiment. anyone else feel that way?
Ooh, Lay’s Dill Pickle-an absolute flavor bomb! 🥒🥔 Crunchy, tangy, and just the right amount of zing. It’s like a party in your mouth! Have you ever tried pairing it with a sandwich or dip? Next level snack game! 😄
It’s definitely interesting to see the farm-to-table process, but that doesn’t always guarantee sustainability or consistent quality! For me, the best way to enjoy chips is when I know the ingredients are truly reliable

A regular-sized bag of even plain Lays chips is now no less than $5. Store brands are significantly cheaper and taste almost the same. If Lays wants to stay in business, they’re going to have to do something about their prices.
great video! it’s really fascinating to see how such a popular snack is produced. however, i can't help but wonder if the high level of automation in factories like this might take away some of the traditional craftsmanship that made snacks like Lay's special in the first place. what do you all think?
Potato chips are my weakness 😋 Everyone else is tobacco, caffeine, marijuana or soda… We all have a poison & I choose potato chips. Any given weak I have 14 different kinds in my place 😝 Awesome video! Loved it!
this video is really fascinating and showcases the impressive technology behind making Lay's Chips. however, i can’t help but feel like there's something a bit off about the mass production. don’t you think the large-scale processing might take away some of the authentic taste and quality we used to enjoy in smaller batches?
In Tamil Nadu, India we get Lays kind of chips made by bakeries across the city. Its tasty, fresh and no more dangerous preservatives. Hence its advisable to use those oroducts that are less in preservatives as it may cause harmful impact now or later. Its cheap as well !!!
Great video! I really appreciate how you broke down the steps of making Lay's chips. However, I can't help but think that with all the tech involved, the chips might lose some of that homemade taste we all love. What do you guys think?
this video was super interesting and really well put together! i learned so much about the chip-making process. that said, I wonder if all this automation takes away from the classic, homemade feel that makes potato chips special. it’s great to see efficiency, but sometimes the best things come from a more hands-on approach, you know?
this video was surprisingly insightful! i didn’t realize how much technology goes into making something as simple as chips. however, i can't help but wonder if the huge scale of production compromises the quality. do you think mass production really keeps the same taste or freshness as smaller, handmade batches?
really enjoyed the insight into the chip-making process, it's fascinating to see how much technology is involved! however, I can't help but wonder if this level of processing takes away from the natural flavors we used to enjoy in snacks. do we really need all these machines when simplicity might be the key to better taste?
I would not live long working there due to eating myself to death. I would not be able to help myself and would just position myself with mouth open at the end of the conveyor belt.
great video, really loved the insight into the chip-making process! it's fascinating to see how technology plays a role in such a beloved snack. however, i can't help but feel like the mass production takes away from the uniqueness of homemade snacks. sometimes, less is more, right?
this video is super interesting and really well done! i love how you captured the whole process of making Lay's chips. but honestly, do we really need that many flavors? sometimes less is more, and i feel like they're just trying to cater to every taste bud out there instead of focusing on perfecting the classics. what do you think?
I’ve noticed in recent years that some bags of Lay’s have some extremely hardened chips, that are not just crisp, but very tough to chew. I wouldn’t imagine that is the desired outcome.
Go to Walmart to get your chips. Secondly, I wish they’d bring back the IHOP flavored chips in regular sized bags. My favorite Lays year around is Dill Pickle.
Lays Classic potato chips are my absolute favorite. I love to eat them with Tostitos spinach dip best but also great with ketchup. Next favorite is the salt and vinegar. I don’t like any other brand of potato chips.
great video! really loved the insights into the production process of Lay's chips. however, i've got to say, i feel like the focus on mass production takes away from the artistry of making snacks. sometimes, i think hand-crafted chips would taste way better and have more character. just a thought!
i really enjoyed this video; it was fascinating to see the process behind such a popular snack. however, i can't help but wonder if the mass production of chips like Lay's contributes to unhealthy eating habits in society. it's a bit concerning how easily people can turn to processed snacks instead of whole foods. what do you guys think?
When there stacked on shelfs by vendors they push the bags back to fit more I watched it happen in store then they r all broken and not much left to grab or dip at 6.50 a bag
Lays Interviewer: "Is the bag half empty, of half full?"
Me: "Are you kidding me, it's completely full!"
Lays Interviewer: "You're Hired!"
😂😂😂😂 Thats sounds fun 😂😂
?? lol they always come as full as possible. weird thots though.
Full of what crumbs and air?

Where you live that a bag costs that much?
@@michaeldmckenzieeverywhere!
its not that expensive in my country jeez
Don’t know where you live but a bag of Lays costs $3.50 a bag not $7.00. You’re shopping at the convenience store on the corner apparently.

Amazing work!
My fav brand for keeping ingredients healthy

A 5:34 those are Pringle chips. They are all the same size and shape.
Those may be Lay's Stax chips. Manufactured in Mexico to get around Pringles patents.

I never knew so much went into making a bag of chips! This makes me appreciate them even more.
Genetically modified, pesticide covered potatoes heavily fried in gmo seed oils, then covered in artificial flavors and chemicals ...yummm
Amazing to see the journey from farm to crunch! The care that goes into each step makes every chip taste even better! 🍟🌎
Not amazing

What modern food processing technologies are used to produce millions of Lay’s chips while ensuring consistent quality and flavor?
How millions of Lay chips and Billions of Air are made in factory.
How big is 1 air?

Where is the main ingredient air?
