I was only 10, but I was in AWE. I still remember so many details. How it's impossible to have a private conversation in the rotunda 😉, to being in the Senate chamber, to standing in front of some giant chairs on a dias in some giant room (very intimidating!) We have an American flag that flew over the US Capitol at some point, presented to my Dad by the Speaker of the House. That scene on Jan. 6th 2021 was truly scary, but the Capitol lit up that night was the truth. She stood. She held. She is a glorious building, the Capitol of this beautiful country. "Free and Fair Elections: My Vote Matters!" How can voters get evidence that their ballot was received and counted; especially by mail-in or absentee votes? Why is the process of mail-in and absentee votes not the same for every state? Why is voter-suppression legal in some states? To heal America, these questions should be addressed as soon as possible.

    • @queensrule4450
      @queensrule4450 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is not the same in every state because the process of how voting is done is governed by the state, not the federal government. Many states provide the ability to track your vote and to see its progress. If your state doesn't do that, then ask your representatives in the state government to provide that access.
      As for voter suppression, ask the republicans.

    ‘Amongst the most architectural . . . . Significant buildings in the world’ Er, it’s a complete copy of building styles that were existent in Europe when America was still a native land. The `Romans built larger domes 2000 years ago. The building is a pastiche. It’s significance is what it represents - it’s architecture is not significant.

    • @queensrule4450

      "It's" is a contraction for "it is." The possessive pronoun is "its."
      If you remove the contraction and use both words, ask yourself if "it is significance" makes sense in the context of the remark.
