Blake, Krystal, Alexis and most of the rest of the cast returned in October 1991 to tie up the loose ends for fans. Dynasty: The Reunion didn't do very well but it was welcome closure. This reunion left more questions than answers
Seems so long ago now. Like another world.

4hrs mini-series? I remember 2x 90min episodes. I was not happy with the story and Jack and Gordon missing, but it would be great if they would release it on DVD eventually. Heather Locklear was amazing in it!
Not happy that Gordon Thompson wasn't part of it. But I was very happy that the original Stephen, Al Corley, was back. Jack Coleman never really fit in as Steven
It originally aired as a 4 hour mini-series (with commercials) in 2 parts. The first 2-hour episode aired on Sunday, October 20, 1991 and the second 2-hour episode aired on Tuesday, October 22, 1991. How do I remember this? Because it aired on my birthday.

Felt they "owed it to the fans.". Today every one of them slams this project hard core. I can only guess they were under contract and had no choice. I also don't get how the math was done. Show goes off air in 1989 and reunion is set "3 years later". Steven has his old face, no sign or mention of sable who OWNED season 9, inside of mansion has no explanation of it's different appearance other then older lady saying "the whole place has been changed around", Miles is there just randomly, the whole thing plays out like a dark James Bond thing and has no actual Dynasty vibe at all. Hate hate hated this thing. All loose ends from original series weren't tied up as promoted
Yes...alot of it didn't make sense...atleast Kirby was back as a blast from the past...really needed gordon Thomson...al Corley was a welcome but shocking surprise after many years of Jack Coleman...
Not sure why they just didn’t go up to Northern California, to film at Filoni, as they did for the pilot in 1981. $$ constraints, I’m assuming
yes they were on a budget.
I'm sure renting 1 house for a few shooting days isn't cheaper than another. They couldn't have saved much by renting the wrong house.
My working theory is that the pilot brought their own furniture into Filoni which then was moved to the sets. While Filoni was bare inside.
So 3 years later they must have decided to use the wrong mansion because at least that one was furnished.
what the hell happened to Linda Evans' lips today? Back then she looked good today she looks unrecognizable.

It sucked! No Michael Nader, Dex,,didn't mention what his status was,other than "He didn't fair to well" that could mean anything! Also, didn't mention anything about Sable and the child she got pregnant with by Dex….who knows...it's a shame Michael Naders character,Dex, got done crappy,as many yrs as he was on the show,and Alexis' leading man,and arguably the second great love of her life,after Blake of course.
Michael Nader was starring on the daytime soap opera, All My Children, at the time. He publicly expressed his displeasure at not being asked back though at the time.
John seemingly got better with age.

the three principals took a pay cur...o boo fuckin hoo....the reunion had awful writing,awful storyline, adams stand in was horribly miscast n the reunion shld have never been made because it was a total let down..
