- tvseriesfinale.com Popular primetime soap Dynasty ended in May 1989, leaving a number of cliffhangers. Blake, Krystal, Alexis and most of the rest of the cast returned in October 1991 to tie up the loose ends for fans. Dynasty: The Reunion didn't do very well but it was welcome closure. Here's a feature spot from Good Morning America on the reunion movie.
That brings back memories. I loved the show and the Colbys as well.
i would have liked to see Diahann Carroll in the reunion, she contributed quite a bit to the show with Dominique Deveraux but I understand she refused to be involved in any future Dynasty projects because they wouldnt pay her what she was asking for.
That and she was simply *TOO DAMN CLASSY!*
Very interesting! This home they filmed at is new to me! That makes sense as I assumed those deco interiors was the home in Hollywood Hills they filmed in (the lillypond home). Dynasty as a movie, hot idea. Who could play a modern day Alexis?

Amen to that...and you're right, she did say that and i don't blame her...you think john, joan & linda came back for chump change? puh-leeze chile... they needed dominique on that god awful reunion...and sable too...they didn't even acknowledge what happen to her or her (and dex's) baby... crying shame this special flopped so poorly, cause it would have been nice if they had done a few more...sadly now w/ Mr. Forsthye gone, it'll never be again....
i agree, but Pamela Sue Martin probably wouldnt have reprised her role as the original Fallon anyway.
It’s really too bad that they didn’t keep the series going in some way, be it a weekly series like it was, or TV movies, or mini series. If they had just concentrated on excellent writing, and tried to keep the cast as happy as possible, and listened to what we the fans wanted,,, and not settling for terrible awful recasts (Robin Sachs, and Karen Cellini for example), then they could’ve been back on top of the ratings where they always belonged!! Still love this show regardless!
wait a minute u mean, after all this fliming they movie didn't do well in the ratings, i think that this show has a rating curse
