Advanced Cutting - SoCal Swordfight 2023 Tier A longsword cutting final feat

Safety - I was offered to wear my fencing kit (mask/gloves, etc) if I wanted, which I declined because I explicitly trust RJ.
The feat was that you had to block all 4 basic quadrants, and deliver a cut to all 4 as well. This was such a cool feat because I’ve done this drill countless times in gear under sparring contexts - but having to cut between a dude swinging a 12 foot pole at your head definitely changes things. It helps showcase your control as well, because if you cut with too much power and overswing, there’s no way you have the time to block the second strike.
Overall, by far one of my favourite cutting feats I’ve participated in.
