Totally random found your channel, but I am glad I did. I think you are very realistic and intelligent person and a lady. I have best friend who is Muslim, but more European style of practicing religion, meaning more in the worlds than in the religious norms. There are prejudices for a reason. I also am not very comfortable with Muslim way of treating women, or the idea that I need to be there for his family's needs. But, I do find your video very realistic, warm, open and mature. We do need more couples like yours, where there will be more adjustments from both sides. There are plenty Muslims who are very open and pleseant, and they practice their religion in a not so strict manner. I hope their religion will develop in time in a more open way in most of the countries from Islamic world. But, for now, unfortunately, you are not a majority, but minority in a way that your husband treats you. I wish you both successful professional and private life in the future.
Thank you for such an elaborate comment. I totally agree with you, and actually, I have a lot of bad examples (especially of heartbroken girls) since we live in the Middle East. But good examples must be loud to change the picture. I personally know girls whose names were changed because of their husbands (because they had to convert). So hopefully, both sides will realize that it's unhealthy to demand someone to abandon their personality for a relationship. And that you can approach it in a different way.
