Great review sir.I have a 4 yr old Bickerton Junction 1707.Came with front dynamo in UK.No problems with this bike at all.I also can recommend this bike to anyone.
Thanks for the review. Now, I have no qualms buying this bike with all the hassles of the pandemic and the inflation and gas prices. I cannot find the kind of Japanese bike I had in the 80s. The one with the banana saddle (very comfy), foot brake, and the inward slope handle. I am not a biker. I just loved biking in the 80s as a teen (and female) riding with my brothers and now deceased dad around the village and the nearby subdivisions. I wish we had kept those bikes and not given them away when we were no longer teens. I was never into BMX or mountain bikes or racers like my dad and brothers since I am more into comfy biking to get from one point to the other :)
I bought a bickerton 1508 comet and really fell in love with its vintage look.. was able to bring the bike up antipolo but I did change the gears to an 11/32t and 47t chain ring. Agree with the solid build and a head turner.. safe riding bro 😎
Yung gears na pinalit ninyo, Hindi na po Hirap sa akyatan? I bought this same model this year & have a hard time going uphill in our subdivision. Just riding for fun & cardio po!
Got one same color 2 weeks ago. I agree with everything you said. Very nice looking, solid build quality and decent parts. Pero challenge nga sa ahunan. Before upgrading anything in this bike, I’d upgrade my cardio and conditioning first, like you advised.😊 for now, I’d enjoy the bike. Newly subscribed to your channel. Keep it up bro!

No worries, thanks for watching an d the kind words. 1507 and 1307 spec wise have the same on paper. The Bickerton Comet with the Claris RD and shifter is reason enough to pick between the other two. The revo shift has been replaced also with the more modern one.

The Bickerton is a classic and is still a relevant choice. The are a lot of alternatives also these days. It all boils down to your budget and personal preference.

Maintenance is part of ensuring our bikes long life and our safety syempre. Pero hindi mahirap ang pag-alaga or maintenance nito or any bike. Basta we know the basics ng pag alaga sa components tatagal naman yan bike buddy.

Ilang Years po kaya ang tinatagal ng mga Alluminum alloy frame?
Depende sa usage and alaga sa storage pero it is very solid. I had a bike before that lasted more than 10 years and still works fine.
