so it wasn't moose pee and fish poop then ? oh no, what a shame your most anticipated journey was blighted. :( bummer, good job you perked up, cant wait for part 3
Hand sanitizer and liquid antibacterial soap. You need those on the travels. Maybe the knife that was use to cut the meat got contaminated and it was use to cut the veggies
So glad you’re feeling better! Simon was a good mate while you were under the weather. Probably you had a 24 hour bug. Enjoying the trip, thanks for taking us along.
Glad you're feeling better! I love your videos - your eye and shot composition are amazing. Been looking forward to your Sweden trip. Thanks for sharing!
I do a lot of solo trips so this did bring home the importance of travelling with a friend if you get sick. If I'm solo I have no-one to accuse of giving me food poisoning! :D Glad to see you recovered pretty quickly and got back out there.
Oh no wonder you said you can't wait to get back in the last comments! Oh well I have to say though that seeing both yours and simons perspectives on the same trip is fantastic 😎
Great trip! Glad you got to feeling better and glad that you were with a great guy like Simon who was patient and waited on you. I was left behind on an 18 mile, 2 day backpacking trip when I came down with strep on the first day! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Kent. I'm on to your newest Videos now. I watched simon's as well. So sorry you got ill, Simon was a good Blok to help. I don't comment as often as I should but I'm always out here my man! As Always, Blessings from Oregon! ... Mike.
Yaay! Was hoping this part 2 would show up today. So sorry you were sick. It’s the pits to feel bad, especially on a trip. Great video! The island is cool. Thanks for sharing with us!
Oh, bad luck getting sick but you seem to be recovering little by little. Very lovely video - I am really enjoying (vicariously) your trip in Sweden and am struck by how similar the countryside looks to where I grew up in Northern Ontario.
Oh dear so sorry you were ill , glad you recovered quite quickly and managed to enjoy the rest of the trip. Yes, unfortunately bugs like that are so easily passed on. Cheers for the video. :)
Nice Island that one, we spent 2 days there due to bad weather. Hope you enjoyed the trip i know i did when i went out there. Watching your video's just makes me want to get back out there .
Feeling sick like that is awful. You mentioned you even had a fever, but did you take anything for it? Thankfully you got over it and can enjoy the rest of your trip. The scenery was beautiful. Thanks for sharing the good parts. Definitely wouldn’t have been able to handle that choppy water. Looking forward to your next one. Hope it’s all good from here on out.
Hello Andy, apologies not been around for awhile. I've had the worst start to the year. Sorry to see you got poorly. But what a epic trip. O see I have a few videos to catch up on. Hope you're well.. Trev
I'm new to both you and Simons channels... I'm not even an outdoors woman... More the stay at home grandma...lol but I thoroughly enjoy both of your channels"...husband and I used to take our 2 children on a lot of camping trips to the Beach's of Oregon.
I'm glad that you got over that stomach bug Andy. It's strange how you got sick after eating the pork that Simon cooked. It's also strange that Simons canoe suffered a hole in it after you thought it was the pork that he cooked for you!... Just saying! Seriously though Andy, I'm glad that you are feeling better now so you both can fully enjoy the rest of your adventure. It really is awesome where you are. Enjoy the rest of your trip and let Simon know that we're watching him..😏 lol. Thanks for sharing this beautiful part of the world with us. Take care mate. ATVB. Steve. 👍👍
You clearly sir don't have a sense of humour! For goodness sake man I was simply trying to cheer up Andy with some silly assumptions! Try taking a chill pill and keep our community nice and friendly 🙂
I was bit shocked of Simons video: Man Down. Oh no! Luckely at the end there was some hopefull shots of you alive again \o/ Now I've watched this video I'm happy to see you not only happy on your feed again, but also chopping wood and food. In your element. Together with your mate Simon. What a good bloke! Patiently waiting and worring about your health. Not one complain. A bit of adventure. Have a laugh with a good friend and share your wine by the fire. That is all that's matters. Cheers!
Sorry to hear you were blighted with Delhi belly. Was laid low for days in Jerusalem which turned out to be dysentery, and got e-coli in Egypt. Sickness always spoils an otherwise lovely trip.
Hi buddy, im ex forces, love watching your vids, you make it look so simple 😆 love the locations and the simplicity of your style of camping in the outdoors 👍crack on bud 😊
You looked poorly and I am glad to see that you did recover somewhat, indeed,I think from looking like a bag of *** on cam to coping with a camp move you did well. Thanks Andy
Great video mate, that ring of twigs would have made me sleep with an ear out 😂 glad to see you well again after watching Simon vid 👍 You'd love the Lochs up in Scotland, very similar looking landscape.
Something obviously was contaminated. Next time walk with hand sanitizer and do extra hands washing before cooking and before eating. God bless you both great video!!
Beautiful place - lovely video. Happy that your illness was short lived. Bird at 21:10 was a Chaffinch I think. I have not birded in Europe but per Google, that seems to be correct. Enjoy your videos very much, look forward to the next. Thanks!
Another cracking vid Andy mate 👌. I did feel for you at the start 🤢🤮. Good weather, company and tacos plus the amazing scenery soon sorted you out dude. Thanks for sharing Andy. Atb Sconja 👍
Awesome trip, so sorry you were sick. Stay away from Simon's cooking, lol. If you have a stomach bug, sharing a cup of wine with Simon might mean that next video, Simon will be sick? Sure hope not, thanks Andy, beautiful video. ATB from Kentucky :)
Sorry you are feeling rough, my friend. I hope, all comes out, well in the end. Pardon the joke sir. At your expense, of course , Andy. Beautiful country to be seen, despite colon disorder. Great food, once again sir. I hope, your stomach, would allow it. Still A good time friend, Peace, John.
Well done, gutting you missed a day, glad you got better. Simon was a good mate there tho I did notice at 5:04 him putting his spade into his canoe, I reckon if u missed another day or blamed his cooking again he was going to bury you, sink your canoe and deny seeing you after day 1 😂 hope the rest of your trip goes well 🤞
I know the feeling only to well. Happened to me 55 miles in to the Two Moors Way last year. Don't know what it was but I was sick 3 times and was just rough after for about 3 days! Good job with getting on with it after only a days rest, hats off to you mate. You are brave not filtering the water. I'm sure it's fine but I wouldn't take the risk, I'd have the Sawyer to hand
I'm sorry you were feeling ill Andy. I'm glad you're feeling better 😁I know I've told you this before Andy ,but I'm going to tell you again I love your cinematography it is wonderful! you are so good at it I'm wondering, did you study it in school or something or are you just a natural?
I feel for you being sick while on a hol especially, sure that sickness wasn't missing home ;) ? Like you said everywhere there just looks such a nice view. Oh my that island ,if I ever won the lotto I would love to buy a island like that as long as I could have wi-fi :) .At least you left some pork behind for the wildlife.Look forward to to see rest of trip.
Hi Andy, Sorry to hear you got a bug whilst away. For some reason if I ever get unwell it's always when I am away on an adventure. Sweden is such a beautiful country. I went there about 3 years ago and like you drank straight from the lakes the water is that pure. I wonder if the ring of twigs was the remains of someones camp? Sandy
Thanks Sandy.. I know what you mean, It seems to be whenever I travel haha. It sure is beautiful there, I really hope I can get back one day. The twigs could be a camp remains I guess.. I had some weird pagan ritual going through my head when I saw it haha
I think it was the brute force of the swedish wilderness and maybe a little viking bug. Just joking, good to see that youre back and canoing. What a good friend you have in simon. NO harsh words or guilt. Best regards from sweden
It's always a crappy way to spend a holiday; sick. I hope you are feeling better as each day goes on from here forward. It looks like ol' #82 hasn't capsized herself completely just yet, eh? "Hints of Liebfraumilch." 😆 We need to get you a good hammock.
The blue dry barrels you all had. Did you happen to see where they were from? Love to have some of them here in the U.S. where I live we float the rivers constantly and those would be great.
Gave you a like although I was eating my tea at the time. Being sick is just get on with it with no dramas . You did look rough though. Nice scenary shots.
You must be gutted ....i know you were really looking forward to this trip.... On a good note..'.Kent Survival'...aptly named! Salutations mate from Kent.
I should just add that the Water in Store Le is fine to drink and my bug was picked up during travelling, enjoy the video.
well Simon was drinking it direct as well AND using the same cup he used to bail his canoe out.. so it couldn't have been that
You're braver than me drinking it untreated. I'd zap it through my aqua pure just to be sure.
so it wasn't moose pee and fish poop then ? oh no, what a shame your most anticipated journey was blighted. :( bummer, good job you perked up, cant wait for part 3
Walk with hand sanitizer and do extra hands washing before cooking and before eating. Some food you ate got some contamination during the travel
Hand sanitizer and liquid antibacterial soap. You need those on the travels. Maybe the knife that was use to cut the meat got contaminated and it was use to cut the veggies
Hopefully your friend Simon was a good mate. No word of recrimination, no guilting, just support. A good friend is something to be cherished. Cheers
Indeed, he was a great travelling partner for sure, Im glad I didn't pass on the bug to him :)
@@KentSurvival did you pass it along to that bear sleeping under the dano? He sounded a little congested......🐶🐶🐶😜😜😜
Great video mate - thoroughly enjoyed that! I even got the flavour of the wine coming back haha! I’m really missing it over there! 🇸🇪🛶
So glad you’re feeling better! Simon was a good mate while you were under the weather. Probably you had a 24 hour bug. Enjoying the trip, thanks for taking us along.
