I love how this isn't even just a song about a guy being manipulated! It's literally an entire character arc from his pov, learning he's still worth more than how this girl's been treating him no matter how popular or hot she is, and when she tries to save face- whether legitimate or not- he calls her bluff and leaves her to figure her life out for herself first.

It's absolutely amazing, I'm so thrilled by the way you treat bass differently in each song, attack, suspense, impact, mood... is always on point. I love songs that use bass creatively. The staging is awesome, I loved that you located the voice echoes more centrally, it's much more intimate than it on the sides... There's so much to praise, so many details to point, but not enough words to say. PS: I'll always be waiting for something below 30hz even 20's, it's where I live, is what I strive for.

To better visualize what my goal was, I also started a lot about music and instruments. I don't know much about production, but I know a little about reproduction.

Seriously, you were among the top five artists played on my Spotify account last year. Detective Detective, Nightmares, and It's Not Like I Like You. Really great songs! It has a very addicting beat that I can literally listen to for an hour or two straight. I think I'll be playing Trap on repeat for awhile now.

After listening to this song for a while I noticed something interesting about its instruments, they resemble those from "it's not like I like you". Here the bass and piano are more pronounced and intense, giving a sense of mystery and danger. Instead of the subtle and faint bass lines that give a more relaxed, sparkly, and come-along atmosphere of the other song. I think it's a nice contrast, like two outcomes of the same setting.
