TAKING THE TRAIN TO HOFUF: Our experience on Saudi Railway from Dammam to Al Hofuf, Saudi Arabia.

- Today we took our first train in Saudi Arabia from Dammam to Al Hofuf (the journey goes onwards to Riyadh); a short journey of less than two hours train travel. And we can confirm the train ride was smooth as!
Rail transport is not a particularly popular mode of travel in KSA yet (cars are definitely the big way to get around) but from a travel perspective it felt like a fairly economical way to travel across the country (which is huge in land-size and the 13th largest country in the world!).
We look forward to sharing more of our family travel adventures in Saudi Arabia!

I think the majority of people are kind and big hearted regardless of race and religion, that’s human nature. But when it comes to generosity and hospitality, no one would come close to the Arabian people .. Ancient Arabians 🇸🇦 glorified generosity and wrote poems bout those who are extremely generous..

You should try The Haramain high speed train the one between Jeddah, KAEC, and Medina its also connected to Mecca but as non-Muslims you can't visit Mecca, and It's really a fancy fast train, I think it's one of the best in the world. The stations also very cool especially from inside at day time, Definitely you should try it also you can see KAEC and Madinah or Medina

Nice trip guys this train is so small and old by the way, i really encourage you guys to try Jeddah Madina train it’s the fastest and newest train in Saudi ! Be safe and enjoy SAUDI Arabia 🇸🇦🤍
I don't know much about trains in general, but wasn't there a project for a new Metro in Dammam that will finish somewhere between 2022 - 2023?
I hope it will be worth it so that they can cover it for us who can't travel around the world, this train in the vid looked really dated with those painting scratches

I hope abha and alula is in your bucket list!! abha especially in this time of year, alula is very hot now and it has alot of outdoor activities and site's from the rock's formations to the nabatean tombs but its best in winter season as you searched i think 😄.

8:12 that's the previous generation 1 Riyal. before King Salman sat on the throne, his brother King Abdullah son of Abdulaziz (RIP) sat on the throne, and that's his picture on the 1 Riyal.
with every king that sits on the throne, they print out new denominations with the current king's picture.
under king Fahad's rule, there used to be 200 and 20 Riyal notes. if you found these, they are rare, keep them as a souvenir.

Oh lily's that's a fine hotel. But should've tried the historical hotels near historical fort area. Hope you all did visit the fort, currently some work in progress. But the terrible thing is the heat and walking tour around will be tiring especially childrens. I am from India, living n working in Hofuf
