I counted 117 pitches. No walks. That’s about as far as any manager would go with most pitchers today. Back then it wasn’t uncommon to see pitchers throw 150 or more pitches.
Not uncommon at all, and I appreciated how quickly the entire game was moving along. I could've done without some of the weird camera angles and zooms from the broadcast.
