Inspired by the theme for World Oceans Day 2023 - The SAIAB Student Symposium this year wishes to reflect on the journey of science, from yesterday to today and beyond. Important scientific discoveries and technological breakthroughs have propelled the field of aquatic sciences in South Africa and across the globe. Join us to celebrate this journey, where postgraduates affiliated to the SAIAB will showcase their latest research advancements within their respective fields, hence contributing to forge innovative paths, envision the future, push the boundaries of knowledge, and ultimately impacting the understanding of our water resources and the life they support.
