The Alternate history in Chainsaw Man is insane. The Soviet Union still exists, and there hasn’t been a war since WW1. Other major catastrophes haven’t happened due to the effects of devils’ existence. This is by far the most interesting alternate 1997 I’ve seen in the best way.

With the amount of people in our world being simply scared of spiders, and the countless others with arachnophobia, I'm really surprised that the spider devil got such little screentime and didn't seem that powerful from what we saw.
That reze part was so sad man.. I remember it was a pivotal point for me in the manga, when I truly realized: "yep, that's the essence of Fire Punch living in chainsaw's disguise".

Fujimoto is a artist when it comes to building things up for many chapters. Only to have it be absolutely meaningless in the story as another huge effect takes place. It's amazing writing imo.

His death taught me so many things, and everytime I am losing hope and want to give up, I always think of him and how tough he was as he tried to survive in the hospital for 2 weeks without us by his side, even though he was already old and had a seperation anxiety. He has become part of me and he fuels my determination.
God. The whole time Makima just needed to have some friends. Hopefully Denji will raise Nayuta to not be a complete sociopath. Can't wait to see what the blood fiend reincarnated as. Also here's a dark thing no one thought of. After all the suffering they deal with in life their souls are damned to hell for making contracts with devils.

I suspected Makima had some sort of sinister plans for Denji since the beginning, but to find out my suspicions were correct shocked me so much that I had to put the volume down and collect my thoughts. In fact, in hind sight, her eyes were a dead giveaway. Every devil that's had a human form has had different eyes than the other humans. Power has eyes similar to Makima in the way that their eyes are both yellow with red parts in them. I was also sad to see Aki die since he was my favorite character.
My guy, this was one of the absolute best videos I've ever watched. It had me so engaged that I couldn't pull my eyes away from the screen. I have adhd and normally play video games with YT running in the background, so that's really saying something. Such a good job telling the story and such an interesting story to begin with. And control devil are incredible. The three last arcs are confusing in a good way with all the powerful devils. Basically the whole thing is a big plot twist. Im kind of sad how it ended
1:12:51 is the first time a manga actually made me cry. I don't even know why. It wasn't sadness that's for sure. Maybe it's the Denji and Power dynamic that I've grown attached to so much, that the thought of a slight chance of reuniting the two was already enough to ruin me. Maybe it's Pochita once again sacrificing themself to save the one person who saved their life. Reading the chapter name "Ultra-Power" made me think "don't you dare use the word power lightly after what you did to her" towards the author (thinking that power in this chapter title was used as an alternate word for "mighty" or "force" or something). Flipping the page and actually seeing pochita and power next to each other for the first time was absolutely mental. The words "I want you to save denji" have been translated differently in the german version to "Please save Denji for me." Even with the repeated request after offering themself to power it almost reads itself like a confident plead for help. That was the line that broke me. It was so selfless and sincere with that spark of hope to see the two reunited and getting to see power in action again that I just couldn't hold it after the build-up of the previous chapters...
I just caught up to the latest Chapter of Chainsaw Man and immediately went to watch this! Looks I have to binge watch everything to prepare myself for the anime! Your works are amazing!

At first Makima was one of my fav characters, but after I read the manga, it was a whole different story , throughout the story I cried at least two times😭😭😭

Power was my fav, when I read the manga I honestly didn’t really like power at first but without me knowing I had actually started to like her as a character and she really felt like a best friend or relative, I’m sure denji felt the same, but as Kanye once said “people never get the flowers while they can still smell them” I never realised how much I connected to and liked power until she died, I ended up crying over a manga which is something that’s never happened to me before even though I had read soooo many mangas in my time.

I'm a little confused. Power made a contract with Denji, talking about how if he finds the blood devil it'll turn into her, but she then is used as the chainsaw and runs amok in makima. He then eats her, so did he eat power?
This anime made me cry. Only berserk before this has managed to make me do that. It's so sad during the end of part 1 where denji is only able to defeat Maki because she truly and honestly NEVER ever saw Denji...not once..only the chainsaw devil within him. Hence how he wS able to (with powers help of course) kill maki with a chainsaw he made out of the VERY LAST blood power gave him because Maki was so infatuated with the chainsaw devil she immediately forgot about Denji. It's also sad watching Denji eat her afterwards while he notes this is the only way he will ever get to have a piece of Maki and become one with her. Now Maki did have actual reasons for what she was doing...she SAYS she wanted world peace but this I do not believe...what she REALLY WANTED was to be with someone who was on the same playing field as her and she thought that only the chainsaw devil man could do that and looking deeper into the lore and what Maki says it seems like this isn't the first time she's sought out the Chai saw devil in fact she even says it's not the first time she's even "beaten" him. Watching the old man literally steal away Makimas reincarnation to give her to Denji without Denji even knowing he was doing this is also heart warming. He knows Denji can raise her with true love and true care which will have her NOT turning out the way she was in her last reincarnated form as the government got their hands on her and turned her into the cold calculating monster she was. Overall this is a banger of an manga and anime...while I'm not much of a fan of studio Mappa because of how they treat their employees( its fucking brutal) I cannot deny that they did a WONDERFUL job adapting the manga and genuinely look forward to season 2. I'd like to see honestly se another studio take over season 2 such as trigger but I'm sure if Mappa does end up doing season 2 it will be just as if not better than the first season.
Absolute Awesome Video. Ive read the Manga long Time ago and now that the Anime is finished just wanted a complete analysis of Part 1....these colored Panels are soooo good. Oh and also i have to admit that the Anime infact did a really good Job in covering the Story iirc the only "Missing Part" was the Muscle Devil. And the Eternity Devil Arc was so much better in the Anime cause of all this Psychologic Pressure.

i appreciate this video just for the combat sequences being explained. I dont know why, but when im reading manga its just really hard for me to actually pay attention and know whats going on during action scenes.

What I don’t see being talked about enough is the group of civilians who gave Denji their blood in the fight against gun-devil Aki. The sheer look of desperation in that scene shakes me up completely as if I can feel it myself… Goosebumps man.

Power was my fav, when I read the manga I honestly didn’t really like power at first but without me knowing I had actually started to like her as a character and she really felt like a best friend or relative, I’m sure denji felt the same, but as Kanye once said “people never get the flowers while they can still smell them” I never realised how much I connected to and liked power until she died, I ended up crying over a manga which is something that’s never happened to me before even though I had read soooo many mangas in my time.
Honestly I really miss power even now whenever I read the new chapters I start to miss her, they need to bring her back

I'm a little confused. Power made a contract with Denji, talking about how if he finds the blood devil it'll turn into her, but she then is used as the chainsaw and runs amok in makima. He then eats her, so did he eat power?

This anime made me cry. Only berserk before this has managed to make me do that. It's so sad during the end of part 1 where denji is only able to defeat Maki because she truly and honestly NEVER ever saw Denji...not once..only the chainsaw devil within him. Hence how he wS able to (with powers help of course) kill maki with a chainsaw he made out of the VERY LAST blood power gave him because Maki was so infatuated with the chainsaw devil she immediately forgot about Denji. It's also sad watching Denji eat her afterwards while he notes this is the only way he will ever get to have a piece of Maki and become one with her. Now Maki did have actual reasons for what she was doing...she SAYS she wanted world peace but this I do not believe...what she REALLY WANTED was to be with someone who was on the same playing field as her and she thought that only the chainsaw devil man could do that and looking deeper into the lore and what Maki says it seems like this isn't the first time she's sought out the Chai saw devil in fact she even says it's not the first time she's even "beaten" him. Watching the old man literally steal away Makimas reincarnation to give her to Denji without Denji even knowing he was doing this is also heart warming. He knows Denji can raise her with true love and true care which will have her NOT turning out the way she was in her last reincarnated form as the government got their hands on her and turned her into the cold calculating monster she was. Overall this is a banger of an manga and anime...while I'm not much of a fan of studio Mappa because of how they treat their employees( its fucking brutal) I cannot deny that they did a WONDERFUL job adapting the manga and genuinely look forward to season 2. I'd like to see honestly se another studio take over season 2 such as trigger but I'm sure if Mappa does end up doing season 2 it will be just as if not better than the first season.

Absolute Awesome Video. Ive read the Manga long Time ago and now that the Anime is finished just wanted a complete analysis of Part 1....these colored Panels are soooo good. Oh and also i have to admit that the Anime infact did a really good Job in covering the Story iirc the only "Missing Part" was the Muscle Devil. And the Eternity Devil Arc was so much better in the Anime cause of all this Psychologic Pressure.
