That was an insurance claim if ever I saw one Paul 🤣🤣. i might have some thing later or tomorrow m8 i was playing about with the Quest last night with Microsoft flight simulator and i was trying to get it to work with virtual desktop any way once i got it working you know how some times games in VR pull them black bars to the side well in virtual desktop with Stream VR as the capturing screen instead of Oculus mirror. Thought if it is can take a a demanding game like Microsoft flight simulator and run that wih no probs and im on my old GTX 1080 TI with Flight Sim im sure we can run Euro Truck Simulator 2 fine with RTX 2080 TI and you with your RTX 3080. Looked like using virtual desktop & using SteamVR to mirror the game play was less taxing on the PC m8
That sound brilliant mate, is it the virtual desktop from Steam or from the Quest store? Knowing me I'd end up getting the wrong one haha. It will be great being able to record properly in vr, I just need to get me some free time, It's been none stop for me for the last few weeks so I haven't had much time to do anything
@@8BitDriverGuy Its the one from the Quest store m8 i was blown away by the no lag and black bars that you some times get when you turn your head when using oculus mirror did not see any when testing flight Sim.
@@8BitDriverGuy Ive tryed this way Paul still no better if any thing its worse so dont get buying virtual desktop m8. Must be down to the game not being VR to start with pain in the ass
@@8BitDriverGuy Me to m8 the video play back was shaken all over the place if only it had what Oculus Mirror as that stabilisation in Streamvr it would of been ok to use im gutted ill have to make a video and see what you think
