HOW TO make a Dog Collar with Friendship Bracelet knot Chevron | Paracord type 1 collar

Tie the Chevron pattern with type I paracord to create a personalised dog collar. The video shows how to make the set-up, how to knot the Chevron (SOON: how to finish).
The Chevron knot is one of the best-known knots for making friendship bracelets. In this video, we show you how to use this macrame knot to make a collar with paracord type 1.
The main difference when making a collar instead of a friendship bracelet is that the set-up of the collar needs to be secure, so that the dog can't just break free. To that end, the pattern in this video has been slightly adapted so that it can be made with the Kosmetik 2.0.

As long as you use a proper set-up, this type of band can be used for small to medium-sized dogs. For large dogs, we would recommend using type II or type III 🌈

Hello! Is Paracord Typ 1 the same as Micro Paracord?

Type I is a bit thicker. Microcord is 1.2-1.4 mm and type I is 1.9 mm.

Dag Jill! Dit kan ook met type III, maar je zal dan moeten kijken hoeveel strengen je gebruikt. De band zal breder worden dan wanneer je dit met type I maakt. Je kan dezelfde techniek toepassen, zolang je minstens 4 strengen gebruikt 🌈
