- What If Naruto & Sasuke Were Both Jinchuriki?

Naruto and Sasuke are very different from each other. While similar, they’re polar opposites. Like Yin and Yang, Day and Night, Sun and Moon… wait a minute. Just as in all times past, Naruto as the Asura reincarnate possesses no dojutsu. Asura has never once possessed any sort of dojutsu, and was always criticized for being useless. But he overcame with the power of his friends. Indra on the other hand was always gifted with everything he did, and possessed the same eyes as his father, the eyes that granted him incredible strength at a cost. A cost Indra was willing to pay. I have always preferred Naruto over Sasuke in all points in time, despite the fact that I liked the Sharingan best. The one time I thought Naruto’s eyes had possibly become even cooler than Sasuke’s was when he got Sage Mode and once again, Six Paths Sage Mode. While I loved Sasuke’s Rinnegan, I always thought it was strange he only awakened one, had tomoe in them which was uncommon, and couldn’t turn it off. I mean, apparently he could in The Last Movie, but after that, it never turns off, and he just has to cover it with his hair until Momoshiki decided to rough house. It’s all fun and games until someone loses a gan. Still, I wonder how Sasuke’s life would have turned out if, like Naruto, he had no dojutsu and instead a Tailed Beast. I mean, there are eight to choose from, nine if we count the half of Kurama that Minato has, and Ten if we count non-canon stuff, such as the Zero-Tails. Obvious naming fallacy. It has a tail, and also isn’t one of the original Tailed Beasts. So, for now, let’s take away Sasuke’s ability to see things really good and instead give him one of the world’s most dangerous pets.

I feel that the Uchiha wouldn't be blamed this time around as they fought off one of the beasts. In canon they remained neutral and were suspected because of that.
Yes thats what I was thinking, sealing the other jinchuriki would be a dumb move if the goal is destroying the leaf village
They were kept from fighting due to being blamed too though
I don't think they remained Neutral unless I remember wrong or the other thing is filler I thought they were legit prevented from fighting.

Any storyline where Naruto and Sasuke are best friends from childhood is a good storyline to me

While narratively Isobu makes sense Matatabi would have been a much better fit for Sasuke. Theme wise the Uchiha (mainly in the anime) have some relationship with ninja cats plus their fire affinity would compliment each other.
They needed a trailed beast that as some type of Moment in or near Konaha
@@acybanks616 I know. That’s why I said Isobu makes sense narratively. Matatabi would be a better fit for the character himself though.

To make it work you could just say Hashirama decided to keep both Kurama and Matatabi instead of just Kurama.

Let be real here, regardless of Sasuke having a Sharingan or not Itachi will probably give Sasuke his Eyes after he die.
Honestly I’d want sasuke to keep his sharingan. In this case, he’d see itachi dying before him and will awaken his mangekyou like the original timeline, but then before itachi fully dies, he tells sasuke about the ems and sasuke gets it.

I don't think so, mainly because he doesn't need it. Sage mode and the jinchuuriki powers already trumps most of what the sharingan can do. Plus, it's not an eternal sharigan so it comes with all the disadvantages and cannot be upgraded upwards.
@@deepsavings3126 Tail Beast Regeneration and Hashirama cell is able to bypass the downside of using non eternal sharingan by healing it.
It's why we see Obito spam Kamui like crazy because he doesn't have the downside because Hashirama cell heal any injury he might have.
The main reason why Itachi ans Sasuke goes blind with their normal MS is because they have non of those.

I feel like Sasuke would still have the Sharingan and that would make a better story in my opinion
I would like him to keep the eye but he would be really strong and might make it impossible for Naruto (And if Naruto dies or is unable to bring him back it is a bad ending 100% of the time)to bring him back to the village

Yeah without it the premise feels too similar to sakura's case as she also had the same tailed beast, plus giving him Izobu instead of his sharingan actually makes him weaker.
@@hectorlackless he is not weaker what so ever, it's basically just no genjutsu I would say the tailed beast cloak made him stronger and faster
@@Charlotte-Okkotsu it is weaker. the sharingan allowed him to be on par with kurama who is the strongest tailed beast. meaning isobu is weaker. in this timeline naruto once mastering kurama is stronger than sasuke bc no sharingan. sasuke was offered hokage first for being smarter and faster at at adapting to situations than naruto and was way past the strength requirment still with toad sage, six path and isobu. also with sharingan+rinnegan he was keeping up with naruto in reg timeline :/ so stronger and faster doesnt make much sense bud

One tailed beast never really talked about is Saiken, the six tails. The story involving him and his host was interesting and seemingly ended way too fast.
Imagine Sasuke getting all the Yin half of the Tailed Beasts and Naruto getting the Yang.

What if Kakashi committed Seppuku? We know that Danzo forced all members of the Root to have seals that would kill then if ever placed under Genjutsu. So, what if he does die when Itachi uses Tsukuyomi on him?

I think one of the early events that you left unchanged would undoubtedly change a lot.
There is no way in hell Itachi would take the mission to slaughter his clan when he knows the leaf was in talk to rip the tailed beast out of him and kill him. Itachi did everything to protect his brother, he wouldn't take on the worst mission of his life to endanger his life even more than the coup.

i like the concept of the video but, just because sasuke has the three tails doesn't mean that he wouldnt have the sharingan. i would like to see sasuke having a huge skill diff between naruto and sauske causing Naruto getting stronger and having a strive to beat sasuke. although that might just make this way to similar to the original series.

I wouldn’t think so, since 2 tailed beasts set free = Double destruction + killing their hokage = leads to more fear and hatred for the tailed beasts so if anything, sasuke and naruto would be treated worse
@@falter1448 yeah i said that before watching the video. I thought they'd split the nine tails into naruto and sasuke or something, and that since sasuke is the uchiha heir, that that would influence how they treated the two jinchuuriki

Are the Uchiha even physically capable of handling Tailed Beasts? Obviously Obito and Madara had to be for plot reasons. Meanwhile the Uzumaki seem to been practically manufactured to be Jinchūriki.
Michoto does use the uzamaki's sealing so maybe she's an uzamaki in this? Could also explain why sasuke wouldn't also awaken the sharingan
Uchiha’s have very potent chakra and strong enough ones can control the tailed beasts with their sharingan…Sasuke being exceptional in all rights. Shouldn’t they theoretically be better fits as hosts than all the random jinchuriki that weren’t Uzumaki?
Yes, Gaara as a kid can handle the first tails, so Uchiha's with high potential are able to be a jinchruiki as kids, only through the 1st and 8 tailed beast, kurama would literally kill any kid that isn't an uzumaki, however I imagine fugaku and the elite Uchiha would be able to survive having kurama for a couple of decaded, kid sasuke not a chance he'd die or be extremely nerfed once obtaining kurama
@@jaii5144 the reason why is not because of skill it's the body uzumaki's body are exceptional, there tough, strong and massive amounts of chakra reserves along with a strong life force, if Uchiha did get kurama each member is only holding onto kurama for a few decades at the most before dying.

When I came across the title of this one, I initially expected a scenario where you'd split Kurama between Naruto and Sasuke, similar to what you did for the Twin what-if between Naruto and Menma. I delayed checking out this what-if for quite some time because I thought it might be too similar to the previous one. Well, a year is definitely a long enough time to wait, lol!
