- What If Naruto Was The Reincarnation Of Hagoromo?
A big moment we all remember was when we learned that Naruto and Sasuke were the reincarnations of Asura and Indra Otsutsuki. It was interesting. It was an interesting plot device that, while Naruto’s Six Paths Sage Mode, and Sasuke’s Rinnegan, were sort of… I don’t know… for lack of a better term, we’ll just be blunt. Those were ass-pulls. They were cool as could be, but they were plot armor personified, not too unlike Goku’s constant limit breaks into new transformations every three episodes. But still, it introduced an interesting concept to the series that someone’s feelings could be so strong that it would allow that inherited will to pass down the family line into future generations through the power of chakra, molding a person into the image of the one who came before. We saw Indra and Asura do it, but beyond that, it is my fervent belief that Toneri Otsutsuki is the reincarnate of Hamura. The entire movie is about a single man trying to understand the will of Hamura Otsutsuki, and introducing us to a pure Otsutsuki who for the first time since Hagoromo and Hamura, was a genuinely good Otsutsuki. Hamura’s will was passed down to Toneri, but further more, I began to wonder if more could have been passed down to him. Toneri displays a strange power. He displays the Tenseigan, which has been linked to Hamura, and he further displays the ability to enter a form of Six Paths Sage Mode and wield Truth Seeker Orbs, these of which being only usable by those who possess Six Paths Chakra. And the only way to get that was to either be connected to someone who had it, or to take it on yourself through becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. Toneri obviously wasn’t the latter, so perhaps he was the former? But if he didn’t know Hamura’s will, then Hamura never visited him in a dream. So how did he get Six Paths Chakra? I came to believe that Toneri was the bonafide reincarnation of Hamura Otsutsuki. And due to this, I began to consider the possibility that other characters beyond just Indra and Asura Otsutsuki could be reincarnated. After a lot of letting my mind run wild with that, I began to ask myself “What-if Naruto was the reincarnation of Hagoromo?”

I'm just imaging that after defeating pain, Naruto just takes Nagato's rinnegan and goes, "man team seven is so cool 3 of us have rinnegan, you know what would be cooler if all 4 of us did." and then just slapped them in Sakura, and then upon realising she didn't have enough chakra to use them, just gave her six paths senjutsu. I think it is a solid argument that Toneri could have been a reincarnation of Hamura as he would be the counterpart to Naruto and Sasuke, putting even more depth behind their final show down aside from him just saving Hinata and Hanabi .the showdown of the fated, reincarnated cousins.

I believe you are mistaken here. Naruto would start out with: sharingan, 6 paths chakra, and yin Yang release. He would get 6 paths Sage mode when he learns Sage mode, and would get rinnegan probably during the time skip. So he would be broken just not as much as you said here:)

Although obito's sharingan aren't as connected as you thought. It was kakashi killing rin and his own sorrow that awakened the mangekyo. The visual effect of both of them doing it side by side was just that- a really cool effect

I think one of the biggest points ur missing is that naruto would never have been added to team 7, the reason he was was because sasuke was the top of the class and he was the bottom so they wanted to balance the teams out, i think you should definitely take that route with a video of yours! nothing but love to these stories!
He’s mentioned that in another what if and he just said that it complicates things because he’d have to know the whole classes grades and stats and we don’t know how they trained or what missions they were in bcuz they had less story time.
It was stated that that was only a part of it not the whole thing.

Also Kakashi can keep Naruto under control with sharingan. And then Sakura as a kunoichi. For og Naruto anyway. Kakashi was asked to be Narutos sensei no matter what by 3rd hokage. And then we have a potential kunoichi which is Sakura and Kakashi can help Sasuke with his sharingan so yea that's why they ended up together prob

no, it wasn't obito's sorrow that evolved Kakashi's Sharingan into a mangekyo. remember that Kakashi was right in front of her when she committed suicide by his hand so he felt the same sorrow that Obito was feeling at the same time. if Kakashi was elsewhere chillin' when rin died in front of Obito, his Sharingan would've remained the same while obito's would've evolved into a mangekyo.

The only thing I don't agree with is Obito getting his eye changed at the same time as kakashi. in my opinion if this happened in story it's safe to assume that it would only have affected kakashi and Obito would assume kakashi was killed because he wouldn't be able to see through it anymore because it changed. I always assumed he could only really see through kakashi if he consciously thought about it and only if he felt it necessary.
But if Naruto had the rinnegan it would be much better if they weren't fully evolved, he discovers them by accident and he would only gain abilities when he had intense emotions or near-death experiences like he had them turned on when he was a baby but when he absorbs the Nine-Tails somehow it ended up shutting them off because his body wasn't used to all the power all at once. but I would still give him the sage markings and people would assume it's a birthmark all the while the third hokage slowly began to discover the correlation between the markings as more than just a birthmark.
Im so happy sasuke was made strong and somewhat equal to naruto. People forget that they are two sides of the same coin.

The Rinnegan isn't just awakened by a random Sharingan with Senju chakra. It has to be an Indra reincarnate getting Ashura chakra or an Ashura reincarnate getting a Indra reincarnate's eye or eyes. Kakashi awakening the Rinnegan is impossible, same goes for Obito. Hell, Obito would already have awakened it the moment his body regained full strength after his accident.
If Naruto was the reincarnation of Hagaromo (who is basically considered God in the Naruto universe) then yes he could give them rinnegan

Only a direct child of Hagoromo or its reincarnation can awaken the Rinnegan or Wood Release and Six Paths Sage Mode through Six Paths Chakra. Also Hagoromo is not a fucking god. Hell, he isn't even in the top 5 of the verse.
The shinobi world forgot almost everything about Hagoromo, his family and the ninshu creed. The only thing they do remember before the revelations at both the second ever Kage Summit and after the 4th war was that he battled and defeated a world ending beast which made him look like a god and messiah. The people of old worshipped him, followed his falsified Ninjutsu teachings and gave him the moniker 'God of Shinobi'.

And since hagoromo has both then as long as u have the sharingan u can just get the rinnegan via hagoromo's chakra in which has both indra and ashura chakra

Interesting. But wouldn't this be the same thing as the main timeline? Since Asura was Hagoromo's son. Technically, Naruto is his reincarnation or at least partially. Because Asura had half of his father's chakra. So the same could be said for Naruto as well.

Hagoroma Was not born with rennegans, he awakened them as shown in the anime ( In manga he was born with them). This what if would have gone even better if saske was hamura's rencarnation.
After watching the whole video, I think you should have titled the video what if Hagoromo was reborn instead of naruto 😆
A: the manga is considered the actual canon and even tho the anime is canon too the manga takes priority as it is the original, and therefore if he was born with rinnegan in the manga then he was born with rinnegan period.
B: it is a reincarnation, he has haguromo's chakra that has been passed on since he died. when he died haguromo had rinnegan and therefore naruto would have them too at birth because he has that same chakra, so they would awaken instantly
