We really loved this, too! Spring flower bulbs are the heralds of the new gardening year for many gardeners and we are grateful that we can grow daffs and other spring flowering bulbs here. Thank you for watching!!ðð
I have never grown daffodils before but bought a blooming plant today at Home Depot (Feb 21, 2023). Can I plant them in the ground already blooming, or do I need to wait until Fall?
@joinkansas7819 - Hi there! They did really well and we had pretty much all of them come up, besides any that were a little squishy or had a light weight to them. ðð
Hi, just curious why you didn't plant them at your new place. Unless maybe you haven't closed on a new house yet. I think they should be fine. I mean. They were growing in the bag so why not in the ground? By the way, do you fertilize your bulbs in spring? Or after flowering? Thanks! I enjoy your videos even though I am in zone 5B but still lots of overlapping info.
I'm exited to see the results, I have hundreds of bulbs that I didn't get to plant in the fall.
I love this âĪ

Great to see you guys back. I've never purchased bulbs from Costco or Sam's Club. Worth a try.

does planting in winter (now december 1) change the bloom timeframe and if so will it keep that same timeframe season after season?
