Alain is CRAZY talented! He is a great person and has helped me through difficult times bc of his generosity and sympathy. I have so much respect for him and love as a person and friend, far away as he is. Thanks to facebook, I am able to communicate with him.
I think his little nod at the very end seems to convey, "I'm alright. I know I look like I was out there...but I've come back. It's okay now". As you say Tsarina, he "dug deep" for that performance.

There's a vid of Alain here on youtube throwing a solo where he's layering loops from one of those shows. Fucking epic. Check out Eleven's "Reach Out" as well. In my book, if Alain has any involvement, it's gold.

Beautiful, nothing I've ever heard is perfect. We like the rawness and coarseness as it convinces the audience of the sincerity and passion of the piece I think. @saltprat man, you gotta make your own one! it's very nice to build your own cigar box... search for "cigar box guitars" and you'll find tutorials and stuff... all you need is a cigar box and some easy-to-find stuff
