- We recently visited Alain at his 11AD studios, where he performed a set of highlights and favorites from his own catalogue for the second Antiquiet Sessions installment. Mere feet away from where he helped helm Mark Lanegan's 'Blues Funeral' and Chris Cornell's 'Euphoria Morning,' we were honored to be on hand for these fantastic performances -- and we're proud to share them with you.

One of the greatest musicians of all time. I saw Eleven in 1994 when they opened for Soundgarden and it changed the way I play guitar and write songs. This guy is simply killer.
Actually, this makes lots of guitar player jealous... god should be proud of this creation.

I came to be a fan of Alain when he was with Queens of the Stone Age. When I followed him after playing with them, I find he is playing on albums, on stage, or producing records for a lot of people I listen too. He is an incredible musician.
just googled you, Alain. Now I know why I love QOTSA so much, seems I've heard your voice and guitar many times. this is the first time I've heard an acoustic solo. You don't need a band. You are such an exceptional guitar player, and sing with such passion and conviction, I could listen again and agin. Thank you!!!
the Arabic slight feel in the scales are fucking perfectly placed to keep it a rock style don't ya think...fuck..awesome...what a writer just what a great melody ..oh these chords ...what an ear he has !! yep he is not credited enough for his genius writing ...thankyou for the amazing music Alain!! xxx

I'd heard of him them crooked vultures but im now learning his history very quickly and he truly is the backbone of some great writers I can feel Alaina influence in many bands now..wow ..just fucking fantastic ...what a legend he is ..ok im gobbled smacked ive been living under a rock when I thought I wasn't..wtf ? haha
