Alright, take 2. For real this time. No secret exit this time either, we commit to the final boss. Although we seem to skip over her tragic backstory in the dialogue and just cut right to the chase. Phase 1 is mostly the same, some attacks have a second addition but the biggest boost is her speed. Now let's hope you didn't take too many hits there, since you'll need all of it for phase 2. Like phase 1, many of her attacks have second phases too them, and now her SP Skill has a small random element to it for the final attack as you need to quickly find the one safe spot before the lightning strikes. And the orbs she shoots out during her vulnerable state are now faster and come in greater numbers as there's 5 of them now. Good luck, Avengers.

The five DLC boss fights all involve characters that Inti Creates had a hand in developing. These characters will also appear in each other's games. First up is Kohaku Otori, who wields the Sword of Rewind. She uses her time-rewinding abilities to save Cogen City from a very bad apocalypse. Number 2 is Yang Yumo, the Dusk Diver. She fights alongside and against Chaos Beasts to protect her home city of Ximending, Taiwan from evil. The third boss is the legacy hero Jason Frudnick, the Blaster Master, who fights super-dimensional Lightning Beings with his suit, Blaster Rifle, his trusty tank SOPHIA, his eventual wife and copilot Eve Gardner and their pet frog Fred. The franchise has been around since the NES, and Jason even mentions his son Roddy, the main character of the PS1 game "Blaster Master: Blasting Again". Turns out this fight is set right after the events of Blaster Master Zero 3 and features lore that involves BMZ 2's main campaign and DLC, particularly the Copen DLC. The 4th boss is Kurona, resident demon troublemaker of Sakurazaki Academy, from the Gal*Gun series, in particular Gal*Gun Double Peace. The 5th DLC features Kirin, the second playable character from the upcoming Azure Striker Gunvolt 3. She is a shrine maiden Adept and wields a septima capable of sealing away the abilities of other adepts, known as "Radiant Fetters." She also uses enchanted talismans and a sword, which is crafted from a pewter staff. Her dialogue sets up the possibility of an Inti Creates multiverse known collectively as the Potential Worlds. The 5th DLC was released April 6 and is included in the physical version along with all the other DLC. The prices for each of these individually is either $4 or $8 US, depending on which boss you want to fight. Each boss will give Copen a unique ability as a reward for beating them, though these add-ons are not essential to beating the game.

All that's left is the real ending and the DLC.
