I love these revo escorts, they are so well balanced and happy to sit right on the edge of grip in a long corner and so much fun if you feel like showboating and over-drive into a corner for a big power slide :) Enjoy as I'm sure you will :)
I love this series of cars. I have the Escort, Alfa and BMW. I was not aware a Datsun is in the works. Super! Let me know if you think they are a bit loud, with the body on but not just running the chassis.
Among the Alfa. BMW and Escort, the Escort has proven to be most problematic with gear mesh. Adjustments needed and then run for 45 mins or so with an abrasive compound to smooth things out.
Not sure whey one would be better than another. If the Escort has the 12t pinion it can be a problem. The 12t was installed by mistake at the factory on some Escorts.
@norcalslotcarsceneandvinta3518 You would think. I've got an Escort from the second run so it has a 9 tooth pinion. But was definitely more of a problem with smooth mesh and break in. SlotR and Marty Ford both have videos on their channels showing issues.

Nothing that I know of for 43rd scale. We race 32nd scale once a month at Motown Raceway in Modesto

This is my first RevoSlot Group 2, so I don't have anything to compare it with. After seeing the mesh and break in my car ran smooth and quiet.
