Hello Stephen! Just wanated to give you a heads up on easton components, the carbon one, procomp and other .166 shafts from easton are actually .167, and so components from other manufacturers have some play when assembled. Likewise easton components don't fit into other .166 shafts, I learned this the hard way when buying ace points that I thought would fit my VAP arrows, they just would not go in. Manufacturers like Tophat are the only ones I've seen that make both .166 components and .167 and categorizes them correctly.
If you live in Australia, you may be okay. I live in the U.S. and placed an order two weeks ago and apparently it is still sitting in Australia, according to Australia Post. Not AS's fault but be aware.
I have found that my arrows with more straitness group better, and I chalk that up to flight variations due to how the vanes react to stabilizing because of the lack of straitness... but I kinda agree that they’re still suitable... I shot maxima reds and gold tip hunter standards and they pretty much fly together
I know I’m not Steven but I can tell you they are great. They are good and light so you can add your weight up front and get a good FOC for good flight and penetration with low wind drift.
It's plain stupid this arrow company would have points that are too small a diameter. Had no idea this is what you get. Arrows will splinter in just a few shots. Damn, black eagle, what guy at the company approved this dumbass set up? Points should be 100% compatible with every shaft diameter.
You are talking about Families getting into Archery, probably a good idea for the Father to buy an arrow fletcher and learn to fletch arrows. It would eventually pay for itself.

Black eagle makes nice target arrows too. I have some PS23 and they are top notch

Yes you need to get a collar or something to avoid splinter that carbon at 5:16. Or pick points from other manufacturer as you point out.
