We can probably best sum up these episodes as everyone learning to fight fire with fire. Looking forward to seeing your reactions to how this battle shapes up! I remembered being annoyed at these two episodes back when they premiered because the pacing felt so much slower than before, but seeing how intense the Battle for Trost has been it was probably for the best to slow down a bit. Anime adaptations of manga often run into pacing issues because they're being produced while the source material is still ongoing. Japanese TV rarely did reruns back in the day so if an anime was catching up to the source material they'd have to slow down or introduce original content to fill some time. Attack on Titan is honestly one of the first big anime titles to switch to a seasonal format that had breaks between production, which probably benefitted the show's quality overall. That said...there was a four year gap between seasons 1 and 2...I kind of envy anyone getting into the series now because the wait was TORTURE back then :P
I'm very glad I don't have to wait 😅 I remember hearing there was a long gap but I didn't realize it was 4 years! The episodes feel like 5 minutes to me, it a good way!
Fun Fact: The titan who was killed by Hange Zoe bears a strong resemblance to the singer and songwriter Freddie Mercury 😱😱😱
Nobody expected this 13:32 😱😱😱
Ah, The Silmarillion That explains everything. 👍 Great reaction as always. Keep it up!
true
I mean I read it back in college but I could use more than a refresh 😅
