@@cmoneytheman Really? Now I think for a game like Dead Space there indeed was too much artifacting or noise using DLSS. However, for most games I don't think DLSS has a lot of artifacting. But of course it's a preference, if you rather play at lower resolutions, by all means do! And also interesting to know, so thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
@HEnKisGaming I did upscaling multiple times on PC games with the old way ssaa, and on pcsx2/ps3 emu/dolphin, it was always the same a medium jump. Even on video shows, it's not a big jump, and pics show this too. I watched videos on my 4K TV, and the jump isn't big; it's medium going from 1440 to 4K. People even on forums say the jump isn't that big in games, PC, or console. Text is where it shows a big difference from 1440 to 4K. Unoptimized games struggle to run native 4K even with monster cards like a 3080-4090. That problem doesn't always happen with 1440p. I switched back to 1440 2 months ago. I had been using a 4K screen since late 2023, and before I jumped to 4K, I had used 1440 I had used for like 6 years 4K was a frustration with unoptimized/demanding games, even using high settings, stutter/dropped FPS. Ever since switching back to 1440, I no longer get those drops/stutters as often, and I play at high settings since it's been no need to play at max for like 8 years, well, except when it's games like this/Mirrors Edge 2/Exodus and others where they have an extra high setting other than the normal max, because with games that have the usual max setting right above high, it's not a big difference from high. There are multiple videos showing this, and also I use an M.2 7000 MB, which helps with stutter a lot, and I have 3600 MHz RAM. I easily notice artifacts using DLSS because I see close, and I'm playing single-player games, so I do like to look around a lot. I have never played any game using DLSS.
I never use dlss cause artifacts i use 1440p
