Thank you very much! I liked your thought process on the Mana Regen Skill with extra layer of defense and also the huge AoE capability with the Burn and the AoE Taunt. =)
Thank you. I've had some members in my guild early on, say how using mana to reduce damage just sounds like a really bad idea. But Staff/Disciple do really well at mana recovery. Especially with the Asceticism passive active or while in a healer puddle.
@@GrandLapika Sadly SnS + Staff doesn't have a stun. Other than Collision with Strategic Rush and Fierce Clash. For Death's Abyss, Chain Hook/Controlling Rake will interrupt the mobs and Mini Bosses. Strategic Rush too, regardless of stun collision. Fierce Clash Specialized into Desperate Clash also works too. For Butcher's Canyon, I quickly swap in Ice Bound Tomb for the Mages. Freeze one while the party Stuns and kills the other.
This looks pretty dope to me, thanks. I was wanting to do this instead of sns greatsword, but I haven't seen anything like it though and thought it would be ass. I think I'm committing to switching to this however.
@@darkness2in I've really been loving it. I'm still transitioning from blue to purple gear. To me Perception seems to be more PvP based. If you don't really PvP, wouldn't 40 Dex be better than Perception? You hit so many times and having that bonus damage on each hit seems like too much to pass up. And to me Staff of the Umbramancer seems like it's made for this mage tank. Strength, Perception, Cooldown, and max health trait?
@@AjuntaPall316 My main idea behind Perception is 3 things, higher chance to burn enemies, higher chance to push/pull, and most importantly Buff Duration. Buff Duration applies to Cleaving Roar, A Shot at Victory, High Focus, Redemptive Barrier, Blessing of Immortality, Stalwart Bastion/Great Fury, and the Mana Cost efficiency buff from Inner Peace/Thunderous Blessing. Originally I went for 50 Perception/50 Strength, but 50 Perception feels like a waste of 10 points. So now I'm trying 50 Str, and 40/40 Wis/Perception. I do agree that attackspeed and bonus damage work extremely well with this build. So I do try to aim for those as best I can. My main problem with Dex though, is the Crit chance and evasion feel like a complete waste. Especially in PVE. Even without Crit traits on your weapon, SnS/Staff's crit is already pretty high with Shield/Piercing Strike's Crit spec. But, I will give more points in Dex a try. I also went for full Endurance, which I personally believe is overall better for tank/tanky classes. Umbramancer is really good. It's actually part of my future build plan. After I swap out Karnix's Sword with Nirma's. I went for Lucid Light first because it's "cheap" to max out traits on. And the mana cost efficiency helps with tanking & countering Forbidden Sanctuary. I suppose I depends on what your focus is though. If you plan to mostly play as a DPS, then skipping to Umbramancer will probably be fine. But if you plan to tank, just keep in mind that you might be hurting quite a bit in the MP department. At least until you get Nirma's. *Edit:* Thought my first message didn't go through, so you might see 2 versions of the same response. I deleted the first.
No. TH-cam doesn't allow me to post external links yet. However, I am planning to make an update video soon. Which will include some gear builds I've come up with.
Thinking about changing over from sns/wand build. Thanks for posting this

@@darkness2inI might have missed it but do you happen to have a Stun for like lets say Butcher Canyon or lets say Carnix?

@@AjuntaPall316 If you're able to, try it out for a bit. See how you like the feel of the class before switching.

An i missing where the build link is?
