My late grandma started having issues with her router. The company kept trying to sell her a new router like 4 times within 6months. She would politely argue with them until they agreed to not charge her for the new box. I was outside (i was living with her at that point) one time when one of the workers came out and mentioned starting up a new feature she didn't ask for and I was like ur not charging her for that are u? They were of course. So I went and got her. She was in the house. It was a beautiful thing watching the exchange happen irl. She never raised her voice. She didn't curse. But she had this ability to talk and talk and talk. It was a running joke in the family that when u spoke to her on the phone she would restart the conversation like 3-4 times. In the end she didn't have to pay for the new feature. I miss that lady.
People's worst side sometimes turns out to be a good thing. - When lazy people get an idea, it's often very creative. - Socially awkward people can easily get out of a conversation. - Talkative people get discounts.
@@DogeMcShiba Lazy people are oft times the best inventors because they want to find ways to do what they are supposed to, but still be lazy. I bet dishwashers and washing machines/driers were invented by lazy people. lmao
I want to hear that first story from the producer’s side. I’m sure that “executive producer “ gave them so much ammo for hilarious malicious compliance.
i doubt there’s more beyond that, it’s just getting started and he’s looking for investors so he had to get the producer working on that impossible task…more than likely it’s his PA or someone else who’s got the juicy stories!
It’s all bs tho. He states that he wouldn’t mix on an analogue mixing board because it would be too time consuming to set up. That’s a damn lie. If you’re working on analog equipment you make sure to use a track sheet and take note of everything you’ve done, and no one and I mean no one with an analogue mixing board will tell you they’d rather do it on a computer because it saves time because that’s not the and analogue mixing boards produce and extremely higher quality mix. This guy was more than likely an intern that bullshited his way Thru school and somehow got an internship and got yelled at for being stupid and twisted the story in his favor
@@bostonrailfan2427 not an impossible task at all, mainly because you can save mixing board stated nowadays, the wires don’t get moved around unless you disconnected something or need to route certain channels for sound design but even then when working on analog equipment you’d take notes and keep a track sheet of everything you’ve done so you can get back to the same state quickly going back between projects. I know such because I’m an audio engineer and the biggest thing that gives it away is that in today’s time most engineers know how to mix and master equally as proficient because you go to school to learn how to mix and master if you’re going to be an engineer, only knowing how to do either one will make it impossible for you to get hired or even get an opportunity for an internship
@@andersonwonder9357 Two things get me about the story. 1. He was talking like he was recording the tracks, not just mixing them. Working with a physical console means patching effects, sure, but if all the equipment and cables are there it shouldn't take 5 hours per song to master them, unless the guy struggles with patching. 2. It's actually easier to do multiple songs at once if they're in the same style, which is why mastering engineers usually offer deals on multiple songs since, generally, every song on an album by a band/artist is going to be coherent, so you can do things like use similar settings for each and adjust as needed, meaning the first song is going to be the most difficult to mix but every other song is going to be easy (unless there's a hard rock song and a classical piece, of course). It sounds like the experienced producer was aware of that, but this engineer wasn't, which is strange. It kinda sounds like the guy didn't have much experience with physical consoles, but was like "No. It's this producer that's the dumb one."
as someone who worked in the service industry as a teenager, i can definitively say that no, r/slash, it doesn't matter how old a girl is. if her work shirt "happens" to be see-thru, it just attracts more creepy old guys and customers are customers, sex offender or not.
Also the girls who did wear it were probably too embarrassed to wear just their bra under the shirt since it would have been so visible. None of the previous employees probably thought to wear an awkward undershirt to force management’s hand
I once had a 15-year-old tell me that her (public) school was having a fundraiser car wash and the teacher organizing it told her and all of the other girls to wear bikinis to attract more customers. I’m surprised it didn’t raise a scandal, but I have no reason to doubt her because she wasn’t complaining or anything and it was clear that she didn’t see the problem but was just stating it matter-of-factly.
@@erickpoorbaugh6728 I feel like if one of the girls did raise a fuss about it the teacher would have just pulled the "I was only joking" card and maybe gotten a slap on the wrist and a few days off

You make a good point about the "white shirt" policy. What I also don't get is that usually restaurant workers 15 and under are usually given the dirty cleaning jobs, wouldn't their uniforms get stained more easily? I'd think you'd want to give them navy or black shirts instead.
Oh gods it was the same thing with the senior year shirts in my highschool, the material was nice, but we were able to do stuff like Construction and Art and stuff like that, Hospitality had it's own uniforms, that I love, but the white normal shirts were so easy to stain with a big black patch when it was raining, went through two shirts and it was _still_ stained when I graduated, F'ing MINT. Hell, it was shirts like that which annoyed the hell out of one of my friends, as you'd be able to see her bra any time it rained. Every other year before had blue and navy blue shirts.
i find the shirt thing so odd because i work at a mcdonalds in europe and here we all have the same uniform except the managers. we wear white long sleeved button down shirts tucked into dress pants(ngl makes me feel pretty classy) and the managers have short sleeved striped button down shirts. still have the same sheerness problem tho. as a guy it doesn't really affect me all that much but you can see all the female employees' bras under their shirts. it's not extremely noticable most of the time but after a while when it gets worn down from washing it's literally like they're wearing a see-through blouse. luckily our managers aren't dickwads and give the girls a new shirt whenever one of them comes out of the locker room panickingly holding her boobs
Story 3: I know a school in The Netherlands ( Sint-Janslyceum ) that had see-through T-shirts for all their students during PE-classes. Simple complains by the girls did not make the school change it. A Dutch youtube channel called "Boos" (translated: Angry) needed to visit TWICE and complain before the shirts were replaced.
As someone who was once a 15 year old girl- There's a lot that I ignored and didn't speak up about until years later because talking about it just got you treated worse. My full-grown adult married male boss who had a daughter my age telling me I had the perfect mouth for blowjobs? I avoided responding and he cut my shifts. We also weren't allowed to dye our hair. And we had to have it in a ponytail. (Being fair we dealt with food, but if we had hair short enough that it didn't touch the collar of our shirts, we didn't even have to wear a hairnet which was what was most confusing.) He took us to a club for our work Christmas. When the youngest employees were 14 years old. I got hit on by customers all the time. I've also worked at a place where you were only allowed to wear neutral colours and the company provided shirt for your first shift (Since it took place at the same time as you completed the final interview so they prepared one in case you were wearing too many colours) Was fully see-through. So I spent my first paycheque from that company on an undershirt. And that was when I was 21. So. As a 15 year old girl? A see-through shirt? I would have gotten a proper undershirt and moved on, because by 15 I already knew that they could do whatever they wanted to me. Not only because I was 15 but because I was a girl.
R/Slash is sweet, but still a little naive. I'm pretty sure the company was fully aware of how see through those shirts were. I once worked at a family-friendly theme park where all the employees wore conservative clothes... with one exception. The sweepers were all cute, very young looking women in childish, short, jumper-overalls that were thin enough that you could see any darker underclothing underneath. It was an open secret that some big-wig creep in the company had a thing for it, so when he was coming on-site, they'd try to get more sweeper girls working in the uniforms.
Rslash: “…pocketing an easy hundred bucks” Op: “I didn’t take the hundred dollars” Edit: I pointed this out because I noticed it as a mistake. I did not take this as being intentional. Yes he said something completely different from the original sentence HOWEVER what likely happened is he read the original sentence as “I did take the $100” and changed that sentence that he misread so that it would flow better and sound cooler. He made a mistake. We all make mistakes. We are human. Stop the name calling and the tearing down of his character.
I noticed that too; I'm fine with the editorialising on the longer posts, to clean up the language & grammar and get to the point sooner, but when it crosses over into misrepresenting what people did or said, it's definitely going too far.
Yeah, I usually don't watch while I listen but noticed it this time. It completely misrepresents OP's character. It made me a bit disappointed as what else could r/Slash be changing up to make the story "better"? He also did that when in his conclusion he said the Producer did it on purpose. I didn't get that from the story. I think the Producer just did exactly what the Executive Producer said, to maliciously comply. I don't think the Producer purposely sabotaged the project. Idk, I just got through this story and I don't think this is a great video for r/Slash; maybe he was having an off-day?
Absolutely! I feel that he alters the stories too much and in this instance it is the total opposite. While I do appreciate the work he puts in, sometimes it just doesn't hit the spot.
Oh yeah, that is some shady shit. Cleaning up the the grammar or editing a little phrasing here or there, while not agreeable, is understandable. This is outright lying though. OP 100% said he didn't take the $100. Changing the narrative of the story is not ok. RSlash I hope you see this and don't do it again.
At 15, the 1st time either of my parents saw me wearing a see-through work shirt? You can bet my very angry parents would be yelling horrendous things at my manager about using minors for illegal purposes.
First story: I don't think the producer wanted to use the analog machine at all. I'm guessing, since it "looks" cooler and is what everyone sees in videos the executive producer insisted on it. He wanted the image, not the actual quality. The producer had probably warned him, hence the "I told you" but let the EP have his way.
Actually that’s the biggest red flag that op was full of shit. MOST audio engineers prefer to mix on analog equipment because the sound quality achieved is much higher, secondly mixing boards come with save states meaning all you have to do is push a button and you can revert to previous saved states. Honestly if anything it’s a must to mix on analog equipment if it’s there, no way in hell that story is true. An actual audio engineer
@@andersonwonder9357 Actually, clearly the analog method is more time consuming, as OP explained. However, the executive producer wanted 10 songs in 8 hours, and to set up a song in 2 hours, which are both impossible under these time constraints. These result in songs or poorer quality compared to computer, and thus makes him look bad to the investors since he wanted music made fast. Speed over quality. Their integrity as an audio engineer is immaterial in this context. 🤷🏻♀️
@@anotsomysticalnight7040 No it isn’t because a mixing console has the ability to save what you were working on and will load up in a matter of seconds. I have 8 years as an audio engineer I’ve been made to mix and master the same amount of work in less time
The shirt rule actually makes a ton of sense to me as there are often legal restrictions on what employees under 16 can do and having a quick visual reference could prevent them from getting into serious trouble and major fines (by having a fifteen year old working with knives when they need someone to do something in a pinch for example). But having such shitty shirts doesn't make sense.
pretty sure they dont use knives at mcdonalds.... also in most fast food places youre not allowed to work in the kitchen unless you're at least 18 anyway. anyone under has to work front register or the drive thru. also as some one who has worked at a mcdonalds ive never once heard of this white shirt red shirt policy. while yes the crew trainers did where a diffrent style shirt everyone else regardless of age wore the same uniform. except managers t least they usually wore some type of dress shirt or button up shirt
The different colored shirts actually make total sense, it's just that white was a very poor choice. I assume it's meant as a constant reminder so the managers are crystal clear on who is under 16, so they keep labor laws in mind. I believe that in most places it's 16 when you are a little more flexible on the hours you're allowed to work and such.
At my work, you get a break every four hours as a minor. So, if you were scheduled a four hour shift, you would only be paid for three and a half. For 18 and over, it's every five hours. Thank goodness I didn't work until I turned 18. I mean, I still would have gotten paid but, honestly it wouldn't be nearly as worth it.
I know some elderly people that are happy to spend hours playing up their lack of knowledge because they enjoy the conversation, have all the time in the world and as a bonus are happy to get those lower rates or otherwise. I bet OPs grandma has cottoned on to the plot for lower prices but is happy to go along with it to benefit OP and for the reasons above.
When it comes to a 14 year old girl "making the policy change with a see through shirt", let me remind you that girls dress codes in school aren't because of the boys their age, but the teachers. I can assure you that it was likely a very intentional rule at the company.
16:20 honestly, it probably did happen. A young girl probably did bring up that problem. Problem is, nobody listens to teenage girls, especially not in the workplace. I'm a trans man, 20 now. But I got my first job at 14, presenting as a girl. I'd had surgery on my SPINE 3 months before starting work. The full recovery time was 1 year. I asked to have 1 weekend day off to rest; no school, no work, just homework and recovery time. Working after school 4 days a week AND 8hrs both weekend days was causing me pain, mental breakdowns, and making my school performance drop drastically; which I brought up to the manager. I also brought up how I got horrible period cramps that give me cold sweats, shaky hands, a headache, make me unable to focus, nauseous, and caused horrible hip pains. I asked for more bathroom breaks and a stool to sit on behind the register- both for my spine and hips. For 1 week a month. I was told "Absolutely not, we're too short staffed, you'll have to deal with it." I was basically forced to quit a few weeks later. My body and mind literally could not handle that job. Management sucked.
Manager: "It's company policy to follow the shirt rules." Yes.. there's absolutely no choice. It's says so in The Rules and god forbid if you dare to question them, you're in trouble. Long live bureaucracy!

The sad thing about clothing that's made for female presenting people is our shirts are already paper thin and see through, so we're used to bs like that already.
@@athetopofmylungs it's not a secret. You can tell when something is gonna be see through... change rooms are a thing try it on before you buy it. And if your chest is bigger the the material is going to pull and stretch out. And if the person that commented is so worried and bothered by it don't buy white shirts unless you try them on first. The fact the op in that story thinks he discovered how to “tricked” the rep into opening an new account in the wife’s name is not new! It’s not even compliance. EVERYONE has done this exact same thing to switch over to the lower plan to avoid paying the higher rate! I’ve done it, my parents have done it, friends, cousins, old roommates etc. I haven’t had cable in 10 years and I remember doing it when I did have cable. Also I did now have to get spectrum for work and I couldn’t believe how much they kept asking me why I didn’t want WiFi and how much I could save by bundling WiFi and the modem, when all I could get was a hardwired connection. I told them I couldn’t; I work for the federal government and I’m not allowed to have WiFi. The minute I mention this they automatically say “Oh! BestBuy guy is a hero for the little people. Us peasants appreciate your uno reverse on our behalf I'm a little concerned why everyone had ok shirts but minors under 16 have to be in white see through shirts!?? Sus
Now that you mention it, that gives off strong pedo vibes. The fact that the boss called in OP after the first day of wearing that "vulgar" shirt underneath would suggest that they knew about the transparency all along. In any other developed country, that would be ground for having the business investigated about their work ethics.
Am I the only one who thinks no higher up has ever seen any of the shirts and they've just bought the cheapest garbage they could find, which was coincidentally white and see through?
I think it has to do with a mix of things. Pride is probably one of those factors because it can manifest in different ways. Although people like to say its how they are raised it's not 100% true. People can still choose to be a certain way. Although I was raised in a stable home I inwardly judged people simply because they weren't religious like me. I've been working on that for years because at the end of the day we are all human beings with strenghts and weaknesses. We arena trying. But sometimes I react the same as you when hearing about Karens haha
the executive producer tried to put out the album without the band’s consent, he thought that he held the rights because they recorded on his label but he didn’t: it was held by the band and producer, not executive producer he probably tried to put out a song recorded by someone else using a song written by one of the bands on the label and got hit hard from it
Something not mentioned in the first story by OP is the fact that working with analog gear also requires summing - literally re-recording all of your tracks with the edits on them into a separate file. You have to wait the entire duration of the song (or however much time you want those edits to take up) every time you mix. Source: studying to be an audio engineer!

About the see through shirt story. As a person assigned female at birth, this is a common experience. Most white shirts given to me for uniforms in the past were completely see through after a few washes. One job I had in a grocery store deli had white button up shirts, but they became see through everytime they got a little wet. If we had to wash the equipment in the back, we weren't given water proof aprons, so our shirts would just be see through. Most women just wear tank tops underneath most uniform shirts because they tend to be cheaply made and revealing. I've never considered this guy's response, and now I really wish I had.
That isp story annoyed me. I was with the same cellphone provider for nearly 10 years, and I decided to switch to another plan (same company) I ask SPECIFICALLY over the phone whether 1)I'd get the introduction rate (it was only a 30 dollar difference over the entire year, so not huge) and 2) Whether they had my credit card details and that it'd switch over immediately. Day of the switch comes, I had to give up a week if paid credit due to the introductory offer expiry date and lo and behold, they switched my plan, but it was unpaid due to them NOT having my cc details. I couldn't even call them because my phone service had been cut. I had to make a special trip to their store and pay there, and they told me I wouldn't get the intro rate. I switched another service at the next opportunity. My only regret is that I didn't cancel the plan then and there, and that I gave their customer service a good rating because I thought they had handled it. So there you go, a nearly 10 year customer gone over 30 bucks, and a lying sales rep. F you Optus
I worked in customer care at a telecom company. Any time a customer would ask about doing something that would technically go against our policy, but couldn't really be enforced, I would just say "well, I can't say you can or can't do that, but if you did, we wouldn't be able to stop you". I'd say it in a voice that would basically sound like I'm winking. I'd then laugh.

With the service provider story, I used to work at one. We literally could not change the price and always told the customer that if they are willing to cancel to reconnect, that isn't the process and makes us look bad in the eyes of the law as it's unethical. Which is true. And yes if a call went longer than say 20 mins, it would be a concern but we can't just alter prices because somebody is petty. It would lead them nowhere but a hang up.
@@krystalfloods6197 yeah they pretty much are. People show loyalty to a company on their normal service VS value. If they don't think the normal value is worth much, then they can go elsewhere rather than harass workers about deals they cannot make.

For that last story rslash,it sounds almost like my workplace except the age restriction shirts. We had thin blue ones for girls and red ones for guys no matter the age. Eventually they decided to have all red shirts for gender equality lol. However, these days the management has turned extremely stupid for unknown reasons. And they wonder why people are quitting
I used to work at a donut/coffee place that had cheap button up shirts. I am not flat chested or very slim and those shirts never fit comfortably or stayed buttoned. I can't tell you how many times customers in the drive through would either be staring, or mention that the buttons over my chest were undone and sure enough, look down and there's my bra and breast poking out to see what's going on. Tried an undershirt a few times but those button ups were stiff and didn't breath. It was nice when they finally switched to a looser, decent polo.

So, my husband (who also works for best buy) says the BBY story is BS. Plus we just bought a fire stick and the cashier never asked us for an email. My mom also bought one for my uncle, she was never asked either.
I don’t think you could deny a worker a day of pay because she’s wearing a see through shirt that you ordered her to wear, more likely you’d just have to bust the red shirt back out!
16:07 My first thought was the same, the first time they hire someone who had a sized chest, with or without a bra, the manager is gonna freak out. What about people who wear binders? People who have scars that are noticable enough to be seen through the shirt?
hearing the shirt thing I absolutely thought the same thing. Then I thought "the girl probably will be too ashamed to mention it, and those who do notice will either be worried that they'll be accused of looking, or... they are too busy looking and enjoying it. also unless I'm wrong, he only solved it for him, the kids still have to wear those
I am a live sound engineer (39yr, 15 yrs in the buizz) and I had many "producers" come up to me saying "make it sound like the record". To which I only can reply: "Then make them sound like they did on the record". I can amplify their sound, not make it better. You get what the band sounds like, just louder. I can make small changes and adjust volumes, but if the guitar is louder than the rest of the band, then you will hear guitar with a little bit of band. I can not change the laws of physics...

That last story: Who's to say the idea of a 15 year old girl in that kind of shirt wasn't EXACTLY what the rule-maker (owner, manager, whatever) had in mind? No doubt he reads, "How to be a disgusting perv and make money doing it". The lady manager was just following the rules so she doesn't get in trouble.
I didn’t even blink when I heard the see-through white shirts. At both the high schools I’ve gone two (all girls school) they had white shirts that always got progressively more see through. The amount of money we had to pay for new white shirts every year probably haunts my parents. You quickly learned to wear a singlet underneath your shirt if you didn’t want everyone knowing your bra colour.
as someone who is going into audio engineering that first story had me dying. some people dont understand the time and effort we need to preform our craft to the best of our ability. If you try to force the processes then dont expect good results lol. Love your vids by the way :)

LMFAO!! First story. I was down in Florida at Kingsnake Records and this goofball know it all starts berating us for “putting the amp in the stupidest places” and “we were just playing games to spend more of his clients money”. When the dude actually heard the difference between the sound of the guitar amp that was sitting on the floor in the studio vs. having it pointing up into the stairwell and hitting some sound foam, he turns to the idiot that was supposedly the “Executive Producer” and says, “If you want any EP credit on this project, you better come up with a whole lotta money. You don’t know sh*t about sound production and I’m NOT buying you a reputation that says you do.” That was awesome!!! 🤣🤣🤣
16:30 the policy change applies to that specific story instead of across the entire chain. a manager with a brain will see the shirt becoming see through and give ladies red shirts or keep replacing the shirt.
For that ISP story, I thought that was normal? Whenever I move, I always check if any of my roommates can get the new customer discount before we decide who’s taking care of internet.

When it comes to the shirts “squeaky wheel gets the grease” The girls wearing the white shirts probably never complained because they would have gotten great tips. The managers wouldn’t notice if no one complained because they don’t care about anything past their paycheque
Regarding broadband. I used to work with broadband companies, and the "I'm going to leave" is the most tiresome thing to hear, usually it only works now if the company is doing a huge push to get up sales. But from observations, the best way to get a good deal is to call up and ask, politely, for information on how to leave the company, how much notice etc. They have to give you this and then they HAVE to ask you why you are leaving. Simply say " oh, I spoke to such and such company in one of their popups, and they explained to me that I can't renew and get a good deal and they offered me such and such a deal." It always goes the same way, a moment of silence and then the rep will get annoyed and defensive of the product. Threatening to leave makes them annoyed at you, saying this line, makes them annoyed at their rivals. Now you just need to wait for them to find a good deal and offer you some extras.

@@bostonrailfan2427 He doesn't have a PA, didn't you hear him? Anyone with "Assistant" in their title clearly doesn't deserve to be there!
That's sickening

You make a good point about the "white shirt" policy. What I also don't get is that usually restaurant workers 15 and under are usually given the dirty cleaning jobs, wouldn't their uniforms get stained more easily? I'd think you'd want to give them navy or black shirts instead.
Not even just stained, but what if it gets wet from cleaning something? That would make it cling film level see through...
@@sther9608 Everyone who's read "suggestive" tagged manga will know this, one of the things that are realistic.
🤔
Rslash: “…pocketing an easy hundred bucks”
Op: “I didn’t take the hundred dollars”
Edit: I pointed this out because I noticed it as a mistake.
I caught that right away. I love this channel, but that was just wrong.

15 and under actually get red hats
Yeah, the only real objection here is that the shirt is white and see-thru, not that it's a different color from everyone else.
It does make sense, I'm sure the owner or someone near the top is a pervert...
pretty sure they dont use knives at mcdonalds.... also in most fast food places youre not allowed to work in the kitchen unless you're at least 18 anyway. anyone under has to work front register or the drive thru. also as some one who has worked at a mcdonalds ive never once heard of this white shirt red shirt policy. while yes the crew trainers did where a diffrent style shirt everyone else regardless of age wore the same uniform. except managers t least they usually wore some type of dress shirt or button up shirt
Six Flags does colored name tags and a colored strip on their badges. McDonald’s could do the same or something else that isn’t the entire shirt
Minor Violations are pricey
At my work, you get a break every four hours as a minor. So, if you were scheduled a four hour shift, you would only be paid for three and a half. For 18 and over, it's every five hours. Thank goodness I didn't work until I turned 18. I mean, I still would have gotten paid but, honestly it wouldn't be nearly as worth it.
some other color would have been easier, maybe a tertiary company color that’s easily spotted among the chaos

I ask SPECIFICALLY over the phone whether
1)I'd get the introduction rate (it was only a 30 dollar difference over the entire year, so not huge) and
2) Whether they had my credit card details and that it'd switch over immediately.

8:30 also pretty sure the analog machine just sounded more "high end" to the executive. like you know, anyone can click buttons on a computer, it's not music enough if it wasn't the big machine we always see in the movies, you know? just like your fiberoptics become more HiFi if the plugs are painted gold, trust me bro :P
16:07
My first thought was the same, the first time they hire someone who had a sized chest, with or without a bra, the manager is gonna freak out.
Last Story: Even better, he should have gone to work in bondage ropes and seen how fast the cops showed up to arrest his boss. 🤣
First OP knows their stuff. Certified audio engineer who does their own mixing and mastering here and yeah, usually they’re separate unless you talk specifically about mastering.
10:18 thanks for the tip. I’ll keep that in mind.
The last story reminds me of that scene from _Always Sunny_ when Frank got hosed down, and people could see through his white undershirt lol
Thank you for the quality morning content
9:40 thank you for the heads up u/thehotshotpilot, I will write down a BS email when I pick one up lol
That bestbuy employer is a hero. Also, most temporary emails are rejected by major websites. They require known domains like gmail, yahoo, etc. You literally cant make a facebook with a temporary email
That 10 minute mail site works amazing!!!
Wow, Thank you for telling us the 10 minute mail website!! I'm gonna use this a lot
that producer one....it wasnt a guy playing chess against a guy playing checkers....he was playing chess against a guy who thought they were playing go fish. They were so far off the same page, they weren't even in the same league
I love these videos! I got my mother's 20 year death anniversary tomorrow and these videos cheer me up!
They cheer me up also. Hang in there tomorrow, and celebrate your mom's life.
dang, focus on the good parts my man
That last story: Who's to say the idea of a 15 year old girl in that kind of shirt wasn't EXACTLY what the rule-maker (owner, manager, whatever) had in mind? No doubt he reads, "How to be a disgusting perv and make money doing it".
The lady manager was just following the rules so she doesn't get in trouble.
9:05 it just goes to show that rich people's net worth doesn't always equal their IQ score
rSlash, the only person on earth that has a patreon that's used for SFW purposes
I love waking up and watching these videos
I didn’t even blink when I heard the see-through white shirts. At both the high schools I’ve gone two (all girls school) they had white shirts that always got progressively more see through. The amount of money we had to pay for new white shirts every year probably haunts my parents. You quickly learned to wear a singlet underneath your shirt if you didn’t want everyone knowing your bra colour.
That's their secret rSlash, they've never hired a 15 year old girl.
as someone who is going into audio engineering that first story had me dying. some people dont understand the time and effort we need to preform our craft to the best of our ability. If you try to force the processes then dont expect good results lol. Love your vids by the way :)
About that last story as creepy as it is just imagine if a girl was wearing those white shirts the amount of tips she would get from the more creepy clientele would be insane.
HOW DIDN'T A 15 WOMAN WALK IN WITH JUST A BRA UNDER THAT SEE THRU SHIRT!? Seriously that'd be a huge issue, I don't like wearing just a bra in front of my mom and I'm 24
The Producer played EVERYONE there
Is it sad that when the OP said “Firesticks”, the first thing I thought of was matches? Lol
Good morning, RSlash! Thanks for the video!
10 min mail finna come in clutch in the future. This video is an absolute gem.
In last story OP should've found one of those "Big Johnson" tee shirts!. I still have a collection of them from the 80's when I would go to Daytona for spring break.
I've been using corporate emails at any store that requires an email for a couple of year snow. it's great not getting any spam from them.
10:56 About 10 years ago I created an email account specifically for junk mail, it even has “junk mail” in the address. This is the email I use for all of those annoying stores and websites that require an email address to sign up or buy things. I never check it and it helps to cut down on the clutter in my legitimate inbox. Just another option.
When it comes to the shirts “squeaky wheel gets the grease” The girls wearing the white shirts probably never complained because they would have gotten great tips. The managers wouldn’t notice if no one complained because they don’t care about anything past their paycheque
16:14 working as intended, Dabney
Thank you rslash for keeping me going
hey, hope you're having a good day
@@chriscarpenter3370 thank you, I hope you day, and all your future ones are good as well😊
@@stephaniebenson4732 thanks, very much appreciated
You know who else helps me keep cheap internet?
MY MOM! WHOOOOOO!
Simply say " oh, I spoke to such and such company in one of their popups, and they explained to me that I can't renew and get a good deal and they offered me such and such a deal."
It always goes the same way, a moment of silence and then the rep will get annoyed and defensive of the product.
Threatening to leave makes them annoyed at you, saying this line, makes them annoyed at their rivals. Now you just need to wait for them to find a good deal and offer you some extras.
Works EVERY time.
For the email issue here is an alternative that will actually hurt them worse than the 10-minute mail thing. Create a google account for the spam and only use that for your customer. Go into the email and report everything as spam. I worked as a marketing solution specialist for a while and learned that any marketing team getting their server marked as spam hurts them so much more because it is so hard to recover from that.
